posted a message on Can't join singleplayer game timed out, Forge modded

Running Minecraft 1.12.2. I am no longer using ATLauncher. I think it is just one or a few mods conflicting or lagging the internal server when loading or creating a world due to saving. It always kicks me mid-save according to the logs. I've been testing my full modpack which is 238 mods. It's a lot. Not sure if minecraft is built to handle that much. I've followed the standard setup procedure for installing forge also. Please let me know if I am missing any required information that you need. Also I am sure that at least 6GB of RAM is able to run this pack and I don't think that the issue is related to RAM but we shall find out when I upgrade my PC soon.

I have played the game recently and got a log file for me both creating and attempting to join a world. Every time I join I get kicked, and if the game starts paused it runs normally but no chunks generate since the game is paused. When I unpause it kicks me. The game does not crash, rather it kicks me and displays the message: Internal Exception: java.nio.channels.ClosedChannelException. Here is the log file at pastebin. https://pastebin.com/ekMf05gv

posted a message on Can't join singleplayer game timed out, Forge modded

I've turned everything down and I have a decent PC able to run multiple instances of Unity and Visual Studio when I am making my own games. I've even allocated 6GB / 8GB of my RAM to minecraft. This issue only started happening recently. I thought it was mekanism voice server but apparently not.

I can't join or create singleplayer worlds anymore no matter how many mods I remove. Only instance I tested was 5 mods and that worked. Not doing that.

I did test one thing. If I build a box and save and quit in that box, then load back in it works 100% of the time. Superflat or normal. I think it's the automatic saving that happens when you create or load a world that causes the issue.

Hi guys. I am running Minecraft that is heavily modded with 218 mods. This is in SinglePlayer only.

When I join a superflat world and sometimes other standard worlds the game will load and run for about 1 second and then it says "shutting down internal server" when I then get a "java.nio.channelclosedexception". There is nothing detailed in the logs, it just says that the server was not able to keep up and that I disconnected. The game then returns me to the server browser screen.

I've heard some people on other forums saying that the internal server for singleplayer is [email protected] or something and I know it definately has to do with lag because when I turn down my draw distance and graphics quality I can join just about 99% of the time.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Minecraft Sound Extractor Utility Version 2

    By CausticPixelGames

    (CausticLasagne)

    What is it?

This simple, compact utility copies the Minecraft sounds from the hashed area of your .minecraft folder and saves them

onto another area of your computer of your choosing. It automatically renames files to the appropriate sound name and

has options to create a folder structure of the sound files.

The original post for the first version can be found here and was made almost a year or so ago.

    Features

Extract Minecraft Sounds starting from release 1.7.2.

Saves under a folder structure or can dump all the sounds in one folder.

Options for which sounds to extract and where to save them.

Automatically renames files according to the specified version .json file

What do I need to run it?

You need a computer with at least Windows 7 32-bit running and the Microsoft .net framework 4.5.2 installed.

It may work on Windows XP and Windows Visa, but it is unsupported.

You can get it Here, If you don't have it the program will automatically download it for you.

    Is it checked for Viruses?

Yes it is. VirusTotal scans can be viewed Here and Here.

Google drive will automatically scan the file before downloading.

Some antiviruses may trigger false positives due to the repetitive way I write my code,

but all is safe and tested.

    How do I Install It?

This updated version of Minecraft Sounds Extractor does not require installing.

Simply download the file and run!

Please see the prerequisites section to ensure you have the required version of .NET framework.

    Process:

    1. Select minecraft version to extract sounds from. Use the combobox to select.

    - You can select an alternate directory or use the default one (//Appdata/Roaming)

    2. Select the sounds you want to extract.

    - Use the all or none buttons to clear or select all sounds.

    3. Select a directory to save the sounds in

    - Using a blank folder is recommended but not required.

    - Sounds are saved in a folder with the name of the version

    - If you select not to separate the sounds into folders, it will drop them all in the version directory. (above)

    4. Press Start to begin the copy operation.

    - This process can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Go and make a sanga or something.

    5. Exit the program or press back to begin another operation.

Hi @Mumfrey, Just wondering if your mod supports 1.8.9, because I downloaded the 1.8 version for 1.8.9 (mojang said that versions 1.8 - 1.8.9 are all compatible with each other) thinking it would work, though liteloader says that it isn't working.

Do you have a 1.8.9 version, or some other method I can get it to work with 1.8.9?

    Thanks,
