No, the title and subtitle of this thread are not mutually exclusive.
So, last night, something awesome happened. I'm not going to get into it, but basically a bunch of really great guys all got together and thought that I was awesome. What I felt then was a deep sense of love and belonging, an absolutely amazing feeling. After basking in this for a while, I got off to take a shower.
While I was in there, I started to thank God for giving me such an awesome feeling. Then, I thought: I may have never felt this good, in quite this way, before. In fact, a few years back, I felt utterly crappy 24/7. But recently my life's been just great. And only recently had I begun to seriously doubt my religion, and almost completely lose faith (except for holding on to the chance of it, hence my praying at the beginning of this paragraph)
This got me thinking. Recently, I've been "sinning" quite a lot. Lying, masturbating, cursing, coveting my neighbor's oxen, all that junk. And recently, life's been pretty great. I'm not saying the two are connected causally, because I think life being great came from starting fresh and not trying too hard to fit in (I made a thread about that before). But I'm saying that a Christian God would not be giving me such a good life when I do all that stuff. And I can't just say "It was Satan," either, because it was love. And, according to the scripture, God is love. So, the scripture must be wrong about something; and if it's wrong about one thing, why can't it be wrong about everything else?
I began thinking hard. There was no way to patch this up. Life was too great for a "sinner" like me. That means either God doesn't care about faith, isn't omnipotent, isn't love, or isn't omnipresent. And all of these things are central to the faith. So, something had gone wrong. And that's when I finally rejected it completely.
I still believe there's some form of god, or fate, or karma. But nothing Christian. And nothing that gives a **** whether I believe or not. In fact, it could easily be something that is proud of me for finally giving up on blind faith, because today something else really awesome happened to my atheist self.
Sorry for not posting this in the Religion thread, but I felt that it was a bit more personal, and I knew it would be buried within minutes if I posted it there.
Found out the problem. The audio was playing as if the video was going 59.684 fps. The video was actually going 60 fps, so I lowered the frame rate of the video and it fixed the problem.
I'm more concerned about experience orbs being circular. Snowballs and slimeballs are rarities, but experience orbs will be everywhere. Our screen will be bombarded with circles in Minecraft, the game will never be the same. :tongue.gif:

Cool, Elder Scrolls 6: Sellout! Err, I mean Minecraft! Err, I mean this game is a sellout and is nothing more than another shitty RPG that used a sandbox game as a cover up for what it was actually gonna be. If this was what was introduced in it's 'Classic' stage, it wouldn't have sold 3 million copies before actually releasing.
Noone is forcing you to update to 1.8.Just stay in 1.7.3 and let the rest of the world update to 1.8
Also the bow mechanics are better in 1.8 that is called realistic
