Is there a Test map for thaumcraft? I'm working on making a texture patch for this mod in the style of the Painterly Pack and something that had all of thauncrafts blocks/items/structures set up in it would be super useful.
Not a dumb question at all. There's a villages.cfg file that lets you chose which biomes to allow villages to spawn in. You can find the file inside your minecraft config folder. .minecraft/config/biomesoplenty/structures
There are a few of the BoP biomes that villages will spawn in. You can enable more of them in the file \config\biomesoplenty\structures\villages.cfg
Be careful though, villages do not really like terrains that are uneven and will probably look funny when they generate in very uneven terrain biomes.
Oh yes, I remember them.
I don't see too much of a point in adding them since the new slime blocks are very similar.
Maybe if I end up adding a miscellaneous pack or something similar that it could fit into I will re-add it.
I just don't want to bloat the game!
Yes those are the one I meant. They made for a lot of fun, It's probably biggie if you don't feel like doing them as I did just see http://www.minecraft...-mechanics-mod/ which has them in as well as the rest of Pfaeffs stuff.
So they let us have Minecraft on the Xbox marketplace and PSN two of the most Inflexible platforms ever where theyve already sold a bajillion copies but not Steam... I am confuse...
What you have to do until I fix this is unzip the folders, and merge all their contents into 1 folder.
You don't need to zip it back up, but you can if you want.
It's got something to do with Beekeeping not seeing files from the Core because Beekeeping gets loaded first.
Ill figure out how to fix this when I get back tomorow.
Sorry about that!
Make away for your peaceful mod to spawn it's contents in already discovered chunks.
This is a mod I would love to put into my Direwolf20's modpack, but if it cant generate its content in already explored chunks, when well :/
Many mods that add new ores or plants will generate their resorces in already discovered chunks for conveyance and easy 'plug and play' means so we don;t get forced to start a new world or run out further and furthere to see new stuff.
Forgive me if I'm wrong and just misremembering stuff but doesn't Direwolf20's modpack have Thaumcraft in it? And doesn't Thaumcraft have some sort of option in its config that lets you regen all the ores and stuff in chunks you've already created in your world?
I'd like to see the boring as hell gravel ocean floors done away with, Give us Silt blocks, Mud blocks, Ocean floor ooze, Fumeroles, Coral reefs, Kelp forests. Anything except boring boring gravel!
