posted a message on Extra Utilities v1.1.0k

In your crash report it says tconstruct so i would try install the mantle mod which is tinkers construct (tconstruct) dependancy

Thanks for the information! I believe I already have Mantle installed, but I'll have to check when I get home in a few hours.

If this is the problem, I'm curious why it only triggered when Extra Utilities was installed. The server ran fine before with Tinkers Construct installed - I got the TC book on login and made some of their crafting stations. I don't think it would do that without Mantle, and I'm reasonably certain I recall downloading and installing it.

Edited Addition: I got silly and forgot I could check the crash report itself. It shows "UC Mantle{1.7.10-0.3.2.jenkins184} [Mantle] (Mantle-1.7.10-0.3.2.jar) " as one line of the detailed walkthrough, so Mantle is installed. I'll take it over to the TC thread and see if they know why this is happening.

If anyone else has any theories, I'm all ears. +1 rep for NicosaurusRex99 for the assist!

Edited Addition # 2: And the problem might be:

    @McAzham.
Fyi, Extra Utilities recently added bedrockium and unstable Tinker
Tools parts, but the API they use for that does not support some of the
latest versions of TiC yet. So downgrading ExtraUtils or downgrading TiC
    should both work.

Now I've got something to test. :)

    Quote from Glimmar»

In the four and half years I've worked on this pack, the first 2 years or more I received nothing by way of any financial reward, and for the past year and a half that I've been making my downloads available through adfly and Curse here, I've made approx. £3-4 a month from adfly and cashed in one £50 Paypal voucher to spend on a couple of AAA games through HumbleBundle and Steam (and still not had time to play 'em). As you probably know, I haven't even had a donation button in all that time!

Nope...any reward has come by way of kind comments from people like yourself who make the time to write down words of appreciation. That keeps me going as this pack of mine has always been a labor of love, but flip! It certainly would be very nice to be able to show the wife that all the time she sees me slaving over the pack into the wee small hours was for something a little more than a weeny PayPal voucher each month!

Patreon might be just the thing for you. I'd love to contribute to the artist who's largely made my minecraft worlds what they are for the last four years, and I still can't find that donate button I asked for a few years back. ;) I think the best part is you can set the amount on a "per update" basis, and it's strictly voluntary on the part of all participants. I'd quite happily drop in a bit for each update... your artistry is, and always has been, well worth it.

    Hi oitsjustjose :)
I have been requested to keep your mod updated.
I'd be glad if you could accept me taking over your mod, give me your latest source and full right to modify and redistribute publicly.
I intend to maintain it to its full glory and give you due credits.

Anyways, I wish you good luck for the future ;)

Just putting in a good word for GotoLink here. He's got an incredible knack for finding and fixing issues quickly. I can vouch that your mod would be in good hands from past experience.

    I was just wondering...
    What is this tool ?

I would guess it's sp614x's Magic Launcher, judging by iPeer's notes above the screenshot.

Wow. That is a pretty serious flaw, given that the main point of archers is to man the walls. Is this a problem in Minecraft itself, or unique to this mod?

Still no word yet on the actual 'range' of archers or the wander zone of knights.

I'm fairly certain it's a flaw with ranged ground-based mobs in general. I've noticed skeletons sometimes don't see me if they're above me of late. Ghasts don't seem to be limited by this, however.

I can see your point and it's valid. It's not enough to sell the idea to me though, sorry.

I guess it's a good thing I wasn't trying to sell it, then. It was more of an observation. If you're not worried about it, I'm certainly not going to be!

The first one to correctly decode the meaning of the animated planks gets a rep point!

Would it be your signature (minus the 2k) in the Standard Galactic Alphabet? Provided it's in this order:

Editted Addition: I just got to bedrock on one of my maps. Making bedrock transparent is a fitting choice, I think.

Donation sent! It's not much, but it's a bit more than I paid for Minecraft.

Thank you very much for developing this tool... I can't count the number of projects that have relied on it (whether those project's creators will admit it or not is another story entirely :wink.gif: ). For myself, I was using it to add interesting things to our multiplayer server, since decommissioned.

Good luck on finding a job! Perhaps if you put what you're looking for here, someone can point you at something you can use? I have the feeling there'll be a fair number of eyes on this thread for a bit... it probably wouldn't hurt.

    Quote from Redstone_Fanatic

Managed to fully screw over my testing world for mods. Sure I can make a tree out of Chests, but apparently making one out of cacti renders the world unusable. IT WAS DONE IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE.

You might be able to save it yet. Once codewarrior updates MCedit to be compatible with MC 1.0.0, grab it. Load your world into MCEdit, and find where the tree is. If you see a bunch of red squares in that area, select that area and Delete Entities. Save the world and give it another go.
