    • Previous modded experience(if any): Tekkit in 1.2.5, DW20 pack every version since, Agrarian Skies #1 + #2, Infinity Evolved Expert
    • Favorite modded experience(Tech, magic, bees, specific modpack or mod, ect.): Probably playing through Infinity Evolved Expert with all of the involved crafting recipes. I also love automating as much as possible, and the good old days of chunk eaters (how quickly can you mine chunks). Unfortunately most servers the last one isn't usually a good idea.

    • Will you use Discord/Do you have a mic: Yes to both.
    • Do you have a desire to make friends?: More friends that play MP games are always good to have.
    • Anything else you might want to include: Looking forward to getting involved with a good community of players. My playtime can be erratic depending on what I'm doing but usually I try to at least do something every day.

    Shortly after creating a new world this occurs, in Beta2 is was occuring immediately on loading the world (new or existing).


    Posting here because I have enough accounts and would rather not have github as well.

    Depending on the size of the room you could setup a 2x2 (or longer) "extension" to the room so that once its open it just looks like the room got bigger. You would just have a pistons hidden in the floor and roof.

    Sadly a feature of 1.8 is that the lower you go the shorter you can see. At the moment the only way to change it would be to look for a mod that does it.

    Most time lapse videos I've seen someone has an extra account they use to do the filming and just sit it watching and if thats all you are doing you could just record is with fraps or a similar program and have your interface hidden

    That would be correct my design you have to invert the circuit in order for the delay to be applied / removed.

    Also as there are numerous designs on the wiki can you be a little more specific please?

    Yellow block with red dot is a torch, yellow block with a line is redstone on a block, grey block with line is redstone below a block, arrow or triangle with a number is a repeater as well as its direction and delay its set to.

    Theres the link for the redstone circuits page on the wiki. While yes there is 2 outputs from the t-flip-flop its basically the same as taking the one output and inverting it for one of the 2 AND gates.

    Its basically designed so that in one state Output #2 will be on and Output #1 will be off, when you press the button Output #2 will switch off immediately and after a short time Output #1 will be turned on. (Works the same in reverse).

    That was my understanding of your original post so please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Also just noticed just noticed a sequence activator on the wiki which seems to serve a similar purpose except that is has 2 inputs instead of just one.

    EDIT: and at the bottom of the page is a signal length detector which is what I've used (the AND gates).

    In your original thread you requested 2 outputs, one on while the other is off. Figured this might be a little simpler than what you have.
    Button press triggers the T-flip-flop (design J from the wiki). Both outputs go into an AND gate (one end instant one end delayed) which means they are instantly turned off but have a delay turning on. Would allow multiple buttons to go as input if needed.

    I'm using something similar to this for a piston contraption.

    Input is on the far right of the picture (button). Output is shown as 2 pistons on the left.

    Not sure if this is what your after but it should give you an idea on how to build something. The 3 diamond blocks are an AND gate. The front repeater from both sets are on max delay the second repeater is on minimum. When you switch the circuit on the piston on the left extends first followed by the second. When you switch the circuit off the piston on the right retracts first, and the left one retracts shortly after. You can extend the difference between them by adding more repeaters to the set going to the AND gate.

    Thats actually in creative mode but in chests in abandoned mineshafts and strongholds contain melon seeds and apparently pumpkin seeds though I haven't seen any pumpkin ones yet.

    A pumpkin one grows the same way as a melon farm except that if you want seeds you have to destroy the stalk that would normally be left behind.
