    How I found my IGN?

    Well. In the beginning I went by a few names. Playing StarCraft, and other games, Infirst went by TheDarkest, being inspired by the (in my eyes) cool dark templars of Protoss in StarCraft(1)

    At the same time I had various names i used for emails too.

    Later on, around the time i played Diablo 2 and other games, I changed to using TheAvenger. Not sure exactly why. I recall one time someone asked me if it was because of the comic "The Avengers", but at the time I didn't even know those cartoon heroes.

    Some time later, probably 10+ years ago, I had a notion. I ought to find a unique and fitting name to use online. I didn't feel I had anything to go on related to myself, other than my name, (You know how those teen years are) so I started with that.

    My name isn't.that special. Martin is a common name around the world. But it does not take mich digging to find out its origins is the roman name "Mars", name of the god of war.
    Cool I thought. But Mars is a pretty plain name, albeit an interesting meaning.

    So I took some time to ponder more, and as i encountered the Harry Potter forums on Warner Brothers, and were baffeled, yet fascinated by the roleplays being played on the forums there, I got an idea. I had always been interested in J.R.R.Tolkiens world, books, characters, and last but not least; languages. Knowing he had made many languages for the sentient species of hos world, with vocabulary and grammar, I decided in a nerdy zest, that THIS would be where I found my internet name.

    After looking over the languages, I fell for the Elven ones. Sindarin were the biggest one amongst the scores of fans. And were even a language one could learn to speak, based on the amounts of material Tolkien left. Yet being an oddball, I chose Quenya. A less developed Elven language, which was thus less complete, but in Tolkiens lore, more aincent.

    And so began the transformation of my name.

    Going through meaning, i translated god of war, war god, and other synonyms into Quenya, but found none that I felt fit, or had the right feeling. As I became frustrated over not fimding any likable names, it crossed my mind, that Mars were als the name of a planet. A planet we sometimes refer to as "the Red Planet". Quenya had no words for planet though, but using "Red World" i forged together a name with the right feel, and at least remotely related to a god of war;

    Since then I have used this name almost exclusively. Anywhere and anyplace online. I have met people around the world that I've befriended outside games and forums, who first, or even still, know me as "Carnilio".

    So it is for sure. My IGN is a part of me. And it has shaped me, just as I shaped it.

    It's as legit as it gets. His email is available in one of his (Blakmajik's) own posts here on the forum, if you just searh some, like I did, though i can PM it to anyone who really feel they need it. Though i won't post it, in respect of his privacy, and so he won't be overrun by the hordes on the forum here, when he already feel he has too little time, without a full inbox of questions ontop.

    That said, I too vere very happy to read his reply, and for the fact he cared to take the time.

    And i don't think Blakmajik closed his topic. I think it was rather the "non-newbs" that wanted it closed becasue the newbs were posting and asking rather than reading. But in their zealous irritation over peoiple that "can't read or won't listen" they ruin the whole fun for everyone by "reporting" too many posts, and getting the topic closed.

    So, it seems he is still in the game, and working. It just takes time still. And when the *mods* closed his thread because people were whining, he just don't care making a new thread to keep people updated, because it would just suffer the same fate, until he has his new mod ready.

    I ask, ofcourse, because I too miss the zeppelin mod, and would like to see it, or something similar return to minecraft.
    I could even give it a try myself, though only if there are no other way.

    THIS is an idea i would like. Even If, as you say, they are only for esthetic purposes. Though it would make sense they had a function like a requirement in order for the craft to work. This way, making a craft would cost more resources, while still not requiring people to have to use redstone. The block search when you create a craft, could probably also detect how many air/ground/water propulsion blocks were included, and act from there.

    Optionally in a more easy/complex way, the propulsion blocks could be limited to only affect speed. No blocks meant the slowest speed only, then a certain amount of propulsion blocks per general block amount gives a set speed.

    E.G propulsion blocks to normal blocks in ratio 1/30 gives Speed 2, While ratio 3/30 gives Speed 4, and 9/30 gives Speed10

    That way large crafts need much propulsion to reach higher speeds, while small, nimble crafts dont need so many in order to be fast

    At the same time, making even just esthetic blocks would do a lot for many builds. Having that hot-glowing engine/exhaust at the end of the spaceship, for example. Lovely

    I like the thought of combining this zeppelin mod, with flans planes. If you like a carrier-ish airship, you can have smaller, more nimble planes onboard to both shoot and bomb enemy ships. Likewise it would warrant you to arm your own airships with AA guns, weater planes launch from the ground, or another ship.

    I know... it really messed up my setup too, where i had an automatic TNT bombing system. One button, and it loaded, ignited, then dropped the TNT. But with this bug, every time i tried to drop more than one, my ship would be blown up.

    Though that confirms that blocks, and not the whole ship can be broken, as i would usually end up with the bow of my ship intact, but the rest blown away. (Disturbingly, still flying... but thats another matter.)

    The biggest thing i've built though... hm. Got to be a...um.. fregatte? Flying, and with an automatic tnt dispenser system (with creative mode though). Think it were roughly 1500 blocks.

    Without creative, it was a hot air balloon... :)

    I fully agree.

    Though I often find it falls down to another factor too; Those that have a quality known as patience, and those who doesn't.

    Those with patience, weather they have knowledge, or simply faith in the maker of a mod, will wait. Since they have the patience to see when it will be updated, and are content with the fact it most likely will.

    Those who lack patience will whine, as you too said, and complain because they wanted this update yesterday, and have no respect or understanding for the maker of the mod, other than the fun they get from his/her mod.

    That said, I am expecting this update to take a while, because the mod was not ready for SMP in the first place, while in 1.3.1 all new games are really, technically, a server with only one player on it. Meaning the mod need to work on a server, not just the old "SSP" in order to work in 1.3.1.

    And while I am sure it can be done, -and i hope too, it *will* be done- I do respect the fact it will probably take some time since SMP support weren't ready in the first place.

    Naturally. Just happy to know it is in your thoughts/plans, as I love this mod, but also prefer to run bukkit servers where there are better "anti-griefing" tools.

    Any chance of seeing a port to bukkit of this?

    Or will that wait untill the Bukkit guys get the mod-interface integrated into minecraft, for everyone?

    and as kazazazazazazaz pointed out;

    java.lang.Exception: No more empty item sprite indices left!

    means you got no more sprites (empty game-mechanic-slots) to put mod items in. Your game is full. Remove some other mods, or give up.
