Back in the day I used to play a ton of Wizard101, and that has since tapered off. But I still get a pretty good kick out of Pokemon.

    First video game you've played?

I usually play more low-intensity games nowadays, so it's not particularly common for me anymore. As for how I deal with it, I either close literally everything else that is open, or I just stop playing it.

How much do you listen to the American rock band The Eagles (besides Hotel California)?

For the longest time, it was the zombie, and now it's the stray.

I feel as if going through this at least once is a rite of passage. Like, you can't be over the age of 18 without feeling this constantly.

Be honest... did you pick up Minecraft again because of its recent surge?

So, we're doing loaded questions now, huh?

I'd probably prove to my parents that now I don't need to go into a career to be "financially stable" or "fulfilled" and go and become an animator, like I want to.

If he or she is the type of person you can effortlessly spend hours on end into the night doing the stupidest things or even just talking (and this can include playing video games together like Minecraft), often losing track of the time in the process, they're a keeper.

My profile picture is apparently this.
Putting Joey and Amy separately gave some interesting results...
But yeah, that's pretty much who they are.

posted a message on What are you reading?

Just read all of James Joyce's "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" all in one night to prepare for a test I took earlier today.

    It is an awful book.

There's no way you would be able to do that without "running into any problems."

And the real question is not "how good of a computer do I need," rather it's "how many computers do I need?"

posted a message on how do youtubers play very good

The power of editing allows for them to show every good moment or game they have and none (or very few) of the bad ones.

If you were to make a video only showing your best games, certainly others watching your videos would also think you're amongst the best.

posted a message on HELP unexplained structure in survival world.

Doesn't look like anything I remember back from those days. It kind of reminds me of that one pyramid in the Yogscast's original survival series, only no lava and certainly in the style of early Minecraft's crudely made structures.

The entirety of the Yogscast, which I can say were the direct causes of me getting into two games I both still play (Minecraft and TF2).

But nowadays, this reflection of channels I have left behind just makes me feel old and a little sad.

posted a message on Who likes what gaming character?

A great choice is any character that the player is expected to fill the persona of. Like the player in Minecraft, Gordon Freeman (at least in the first Half-Life), or any of the Pokemon protagonists, it really helps sell the world when at least part of it is the player having to sell the game to themselves.

The account join date may deceive you, but I first bought Minecraft in 2012 and joined these here forums in 2013 under the guise of "CanaryCasserole." I wish that I had gotten the game earlier, maybe 2010 or 2011, as I have first heard of the game in 2009-2010 and my obsession sort of grew from there.

Back then, I was an innocent young boy making his way in the world. Now I'm applying to college. Oh, how the time passes.

I like to start my mornings with a nice cup of hot chocolate instead, but I am a sucker for coffee flavored things.

I'd figure that as I get older I'll get into coffee eventually.
