Ok so on mac there is no DxDiag, but I know that there is a thing called System profiler which provides you with information about everything on your mac. So here you go. Also please note that my computer does not let me put my volume up or down, it says No Audio Input Devices Found, so maybe that will help.

    Hardware:

    Model Name:MacBook Pro

    Model Identifier:MacBookPro8,1

    Processor Name:Intel Core i5

    Processor Speed:2.4 GHz

    Number of Processors:1

    Total Number of Cores:2

    L2 Cache (per Core):256 KB

    L3 Cache:3 MB

    Memory:4 GB

    Boot ROM Version:MBP81.0047.B27

    SMC Version (system):1.68f99

    Serial Number (system):C02H160XDV13

    Hardware UUID:E7AF2A41-AA5B-5A82-B2A9-A294B19AA0F0

If you would like information on something else, like volume, ATA... Please ask, this program provides me with them
