    posted a message on Shift click in inventory mostly doesn't work...
    I got tekkit yesterday for linux (mint linux, newest version) and while shift works fine normally (when typing), and works in minecraft just fine for crouching, it only randomly works when shift clicking inventory. While this isn't a huge deal, it's quite annoying.

    It works randomly, and seems to work most of the time if I release and press shift again after every click (still sometimes doesn't), but it doesn't for the second, or third, or fourth, etc. Sometimes it randomly does, but not most of the time. I also have to have JUST pressed the shift key (like within a second or so) to be able to shift click when I first press it.

    Any clues on how to fix this? It's really really annoying when trying to move stuff around.

    I have an issue. I love the launcher, but 8 out of 10 times, it locks up just after opening, and I can't do anything but force quit. I have Windows 7 64bit, and the newest java. I've let it sit for a few minutes (10+) and it never unfreezes. I'm thinking it has something to do with fetching the data for the different tabs, but I don't know for sure.

    Ok, so I'm trying to set up my permissions file for bukkit. Seems fine as there are no errors when loading the server, but nothing is working either. Also, a different mod I have installed said that there were no permissions set (so it defaulted to it's own)

    I've looked online and did direct copy and paste many times, and many different ways, so what am I doing wrong?

    Great tutorials so far. Thanks so much for making them!

    I only have one suggestion for a new video. How to make something SMP with modloaderMP. I'm sure it's not a ton harder for basic things like blocks or items. I know stuff like buildcraft are way to complex to make a tutorial of, but being able to add your own mineral and recipes to a custom server would be pretty darn cool IMO.

    I'd like to make mods in general, but I don't ever, ever play single player anymore. I have my own custom server and I'd like to add in extras. For instance, {I know it'd be super complex} it'd be nice to have a death match/capture the flag mod that requires admins to assign teams and restricts players to the arena.

    Another that would be super duper complex would be to be able to have a "tv" that watches justin/twitch.tv streams and has a non-definite size. So a Jumbo screen for those matches could be made for people to watch the event from admin views while in the server real time.

    Of course, I'm thinking way outside my current scope, but my points are made. It'd be nice to know how to make it multiplayer capable.

    Well, I was going to post my server has the mod, but there's been an update... that makes it incompatible with the new version. XD

    O-o wish there were a modloader that could check to see if there were updates to a mod before it tries to connect to a server.

    I've got my own server up and running, and recently, a few people have been logging on with mods I don't want to let them use, so it's a legit server experience. Everything should be earned by the means of what the server intends. No item spawning, no xray vision, no superfast running. Normally I think I could find mods for bukkit that would prevent stuff like this, but it hasn't been released yet, and then the process of everyone upgrading their mods for the new bukkit has to happen.

    My question is, how can I stop things like mycraft, xray, flying, etc without bukkit? I have modloader(mp also) and such to have buildcraft on the server (will have IC2 and EE after they are released for servers), so installing a mod like that isn't a problem.

    Any suggestions?

    I'd like to have a chest locking mod, but every single one I find is bukkit only. Any help at all?

    Is there any way to disable the mod, or at least make it to where the creepers(christmas ones) and temperature go back to normal? It'd be nice to be able to keep the items out if wanted, but I don't want a constantly snowy server, and I want the snow to disappear on it's own over time (after disabling the mod) so it's like winter has come and gone.

    I like the idea. I really do, but is there a way to get rid of the snow after the season has passed? (I'd be installing on a server, that in the past couple days has been getting 10+ concurrent users)

    I like seasonal things, such as snow falling, but I don't want it to be mid summer and the entire server has snow on it still.

    EDIT:
    I should also note that I did not delete meta-inf and I did copy the net folder as well as all other files into the server.jar file. This is just to clarify. Also note, nothing else at all has been installed on the server.
