    ----IC Info----
    -Character name: Caelius (Cael) Avar

    -Character race: Human

    -Character gender: Male

    -Character age: 24

-Character Occupation (optional, note you still must talk to the lord about loaning or purchasing any stall/shop for your character if he/she would have one. This more or less helps us to better understand your characters starting skill set): City Guard.

-Character description (At least one to two paragraphs describing your character’s visual appearance.):
Caelius stands merely an inch shorter than six feet. He has olive complexion. He has short black hair with a full beard. His eyes are as blue as glaciers. Caelius is of an average build and often misjudged as weak. Caelius prefers to wear Chainmail armor. On top of his chainmail armor he wears a brown tabard with a black cross on it. He also wears a sword belt.

-Character personality and traits (At least one to two paragraphs describing their personality traits and/or quirks.): Caelius often spends his free time in a tavern to gather word from around town. He loves a nice drink and some gambling. He is easily angered when his family is mentioned, otherwise he tends to be a pretty calm and collected. He is a very serious person, who can only take a joke after a few drinks. He’s seen too much crime to trust people easily. He is always surveying his surroundings, ready for a fight. Caelius also loves helping others in need, however his main priority is his personal gain.

-Character biography (At least three paragraphs describing your character's history and experiences):

Caelius’ father was an honest soldier named Marcus Avar, and his mother a skill-less yet beautiful woman by the name of Avaline Fulvius. Marcus and Avaline had grown up in the same little village. Marcus’ father the blacksmith had always trained him to be a soldier and for good reason. Avaline’s parents tried to get her to learn many things, but she just never seemed to be any good at anything. Finally at around 18 years of age Marcus parted with Avaline to join the army in fighting the pact, and to provide money for Avaline to live off of. He made her promise one thing before he left though. She was to leave for Barkamsted immediately as the pact was ravaging the land since before they were born. Avaline agreed and left to Barkamsted where she later gave birth to Caelius Avar. Caelius’ father wrote about once a week and sent money home as often as he could until one day when Caelius was around 5, the money and letter suddenly stopped. They were not told of his death for certain but Avaline immediately knew Marcus had died.

Caelius’ mother tried to get a job, but each job she got she failed at. That is until she stooped so low to feed her child that she decided to sell her body. Through this humiliation she still reminded Caelius of who his father was and the great sacrifice he had made for them and the alliance. This is what is believed to drive Caelius to fight. At a young age Caelius managed to make friends with the other children in Barkamsted, not discriminating against any others based on their race. Among these friends was the blacksmith’s son Mathew. Mathew stole a sword from his father one day and gave it to Caelius as a 12th birthday present. Caelius was honored by the present and vowed to keep it for the rest of his life. Up until Caelius was 18 he would practice with the sword everyday. At first he was hardly able to pick it up but eventually it felt just right to him and he actually became a somewhat decent swordsman. He badly wanted to become a soldier, but his mother oddly made him promise not to join until he was older, so instead he worked as a simple city guard for Barkamsted (A still very dangerous job).

Two years ago when the Pact raided Barkamsted Caelius’ mother was unfortunately caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was raped and killed. Caelius didn’t know about this at the time being one of the city defenders. We managed to push back the pact, but soon after when they were identifying the injured and killed he noticed his mother’s face among them. Angered he was one of many to volunteer to launch a counter attack as a soldier against the pact, driving them back to their own land. Then these gates started opening up and the people they were just at war with had to set aside their differences and help them fight a new enemy.
-Please give us a short RP response to these two scenarios. (At least one paragraph for each):

You’re walking around the markets at around noon. There’s a lot of people around you, still gathering their items as they prepare to shut down their many stands. Suddenly you feel a gentle lifting of your coin purse as a child graces you and soon after they take off sprinting. You have been robbed.

I immediately chase after the child, but with he quickly uses his speed and height to lose me in the crowd of people. I think to myself “Just my luck, beaten, by a mere child. However, I just shrug it off thinking of all the possibilities of why the child stole the money from me.

You’re heading back to the city through the woods when you hear a whining coming from nearby. Upon further investigation you come across a grey-coloured wolf that appears to have its leg caught in a bear trap. Around it is three smaller lumps of fur, obviously puppies belonging to the trapped mother. Without help, they’ll all die, but wolf skins are quite valuable too, not to mention that the nearby farms suffer quite a bit from the wolf population.

I think to myself how badly I need the money, but I also am touched by the pups’ wimpers. In quick thought I decide to make room for the pups in my bag by discarding some useless items. I then collect the pups into my bag with some bribery with some of my food. I finally look at the mother wolf and draw my dagger. I carefully slide my blade into the wolf’s throat trying not to damage the pelt too much, but not without the wolf biting my other hand. I then skin the wolf jaggedly and bundle it up. I carry the pelt into town along with the pups. I sell the pelt and two of the pups to a merchant for a low price. I keep the last pup that I couldn’t bear to part with.
