NOOOOOOOOOOO! I decide to get on and the server got shutdown T.T I have been with this server for probably over a year now... I remember when I first joined- I began playing as Emrys Emberblood, a baker... He was assassinated while raping a tree... Then there was Vagnar- who was probably my most influential character. Vagnar began a rebellion as mysteriously disappeared. After that Ravien started the new map and I became Haven Emberblood- The Jarl of Keyhold, and the King of Keyhold for approx. 30 minutes. Emrys was slain by Lucius, while he protected Keyhold. Then Vahjiir- Vahjiir was by far my second favorite character... He was the Archmage of the Mage's Guild... Vahjiir only had a few secrets... He had a multi-personality disorder that would turn him into the Dark Mage of Dusk... He also planned to conquer everyone with the Guild- specifically Leon. Wow... Just wow... I can't believe I saw the day this server would die :'(

Character Name AND Back Story: Oceanus: Vlorien Highoak was a… mischievous child. He was always getting into trouble n’ stealing ever since he was orphaned by his parents. Just to scrape by- he began to steal more and more. Soon he became a known thief among his Elven village. One day after a few years, there was rumor of a mystical, valuable gemstone that was being delivered to a collaboration of magic users known as the Mages of Old. The gem was named, Oceanus, after a fallen mage who happened to be a master of the water magicks. Vlorien, being an arrogant thief- could not resist this opportunity to obtain an object of this magnitude. So, he joined the group of wizards.
Vlorien was very reflective and insightful with his lessons. He spent most of his time studying until he was accepted as a fellow brother by the mages. After a while, the group was willing to answer any inquiries that Vlorien might have. Of course, his interest was solely with Oceanus. Where did the gem originate? Why is it so valuable? What is the stone’s purpose? The upper league of mages answered most of his inquiries, except one. They refused to reply to any questions involving the purpose or value of the gem. This angered Vlorien, but he kept his calm and remained self-composed for a few more weeks.
Eventually, he felt the time was right. That night Vlorien slipped inside the walls of the safe room. He crept pass the guards- to find himself face to face with the gem. The stone was concealed behind a large glass pane with an inscription titled, Oceanus- warning do not contact stone with salt water. Vlorien, not giving the engraving any attention, smashed the glass and stole the massive, transcendent gemstone. After placing Oceanus inside a leather satchel, he quickly left the room. However, the safe room was easy to sneak into- but impossible to exit without drawing the attention of the guards. Vlorien had already planned a chase scenario- he would take a hidden route that the heavily armored guards would definitely not be able to follow. He burst past the two elven guards; of course they followed him, but when Vlorien reached a small, concealed tunnel- he had already lost the large Elves. Just to be sure he was safe- he crawled into the tight opening. Water from the rising ocean sunk down into the miniscule tunnel. The droplets only fell upon the leather satchel; the stone was somehow attracting the sea water! Vlorien tried to remove the bag, but the tunnel was too thin, and the satchel strap too tight.
There Vlorien remained, stuck as more water fell into the tight space. When sea water finally dripped through the bag and onto Oceanus- the gem began to glow. It shined a brilliant shade of blue through the leather. After a while- all Vlorien could see was the stone, it mesmerized him as the ocean flooded the tunnel. However, the young Elven thief did not drown- instead the powerful gem morphed him. His skin was soon replaced by hard, green, scales; and his neck grew long, pale, gills. For Vlorien the process only took seconds, but many years had passed from the day he got stuck within the tunnel. So much time had crept by that the stone shattered where it lay. However, Vlorien was no longer his Elven self- he was, and always will be: Oceanus…

Why should you have said abilities? (Make this more than

trust you with this ability.): My new character is entirely centered around the ocean. He won’t be overpowered as he can’t wear any armor other than Leather (Because of the scales) and can’t use a blade or bow (because of webbed fingers). Due to Oceanus’s hideous, scaly face- he almost always wears a hood and mask. Also, being near fire/lave weakens Oceanus and makes him feel uncomfortable. I put a lot of time and hard work into the backstory- I swear that I will not abuse this power, especially after accidently erasing it 4 times… Once again- thanks guys… (I also wrote this in Microsoft Word- so I'm don't quite sure if it is displaying the paragraphs correctly...)

He eventually found a man known as, Eolair Ignus. Eolair told Vahjiir about the many legends of the Lycan race- then offered the Archmage the opportunity of joining the Werewolf race. Of course Vahjiir took the offer- after a few hours of pain, the venom eventually sunk in, making him sick for the remainder of the day. Luckily a full moon approaches... and Vahjiir is about to experience his first turning...

We want to know why we could trust you with this ability.): I researched the Lycan race (All info gathered from Eolair Ignus) for several in-game days and I have also been bit from the only Werewolf in Ravien. You can trust me, I won't let you guys down

As an Emberblood- Vahjiir learned quick that using a bow with just natural. After years of practice with both of these powerful weapons- Vahjiir wondered if he could channel magic through a bow. A feat of this caliber would take several months of experimenting and focus. However, why he was taking another attempt he suddenly realized the issue with this concept. Instead of shooting a concentrated bolt of lightning through the bow, he would have to use a blast of pure energy- which would spin of the edge of bowstring, causing a form of lightning to form. This discovery has greatly changed the field and understanding of magic and sorcery.

Why should you have said abilities? (Make this more than "My character learned it." The Christmas or Winter's Banquet celebration went great for the residents of Keyhold! With an army of fireworks (provided by Mircell- thanks), presents, and CAKE! Haven was abandoned by his father and he never knew his mother. He grew up on the streets where he had to steal, lie, and kill just for a meager supper. He only had a bow left behind by his father and a strange family amulet that Haven found in his father's belongings. After a few years of practice- Haven became a master in archery. During the latter part of this time Haven made his first attempt of becoming a good man and was apprenticed to a Master Mage for 6 years. Unfortunately, he was cast out once the Mage discovered Haven's record. However, he eventually succumbed to the life of an earnest man. For 4 years Haven served as a Royal Guard in his Kingdom's militaristic lifestyle. His King looked past his criminal record and gave him a second chance. Haven was grateful to the King, and served with honor, valor, and glory over those four years. Eventually though, his fellow guards discovered Haven's un-pardoned record and sought to kill him and claim the reward.
After working a long shift one evening, his fellow comrades led him into a valley where they said they were hosting a four year anniversary celebration. They gave him a blind-fold and took him into the middle of the clearing. One of the guards hefted a heavy bow and pulled back the draw weight, he then unleashed in arrow toward the blindfolded Haven. Haven felt nothing as his very soul was shot out of him and the next the thing he knew- he was on the dark, murky, and damp ground of a land called Ravien. He still clutches his father's amulet and still fires his trusty bow. Haven may have forgotten how he got here, but he will never forget who he is- Haven Emberblood.

How do you respond?: I would draw my bow and fire an arrow toward the Captain- it would be easier to escape if you could kill the Captain. Then, I would jump over the side of the boat and swim to shore. Where I would steal a horse to get to a new Kingdom in the world of Ravien. I would sell the stolen horse once I got there and buy some food and other meager supplies. I would then escape into the forest or jungle and make a log cabin... Where hopefully I would remain hidden...
