Simple idea. Effective idea.
Some objects can be picked up.
Save time & more practical & a reasonable realistic addition as opposed to having to mine things likes potted plants.
Some objects have a "quick" mine time because its not meant to be mined but they haven't developed another way to turn a block into a "pick-upable" object yet.
How does it work:
Use Shift + button with empty hand.
Arm does standard animation.
Think like, taking an item from the item frame. Easy to implement.
You can edit which ones can and cannot be picked up with command block rules, etc.

Honestly, each item would have to be considered carefully for balance reasons. But in general, this is just one more thing that will make the game less tedious & stressful.
