at my college I regularly get 90+ Mbs down AND up, with of course no limits
don't have much to say about the mods right now, expect I was disappointed to find out that a battery will always output its max power, no matter what the network on the output is like. even so I still like electricraft a lot better than rf and magnetostatics for everything
There is nowhere to pipe in lubricant, but something in crafting is an idea.
maybe require a "bearing" block on each end of the turbine. might be cool to have to support the turbine. redoing the multiblock would be more work than just changing a recipe. but it would give you a place to put the lubricant in, unless of course you go with a permanently lubed one
Gone back through the thread for a bit and didn't spot anything but would be surprised if this isn't already reported.
You can use electricraft to create free power by combining multiple generator outputs into one output cable. Simply pipe in low torque, high rad into one generator and high torque, low rad into the other and the resulting combined electrical cable seems to just add it all together resulting in high torque and high rad output.
couple concerns about electricraft. I know your changing a lot with how the network is handled but just making sure.
when I set a resistor to a specific current ( both what the color bands would represent and waila says ) the current on the other side is 4x as high. not sure if this has already been fixed with the next update but still
I also had issue getting the correct color to set, the two I still cannot get are gray and white bands
a small (8 fuel core) fission reactor.I also had trouble getting the pebble bed reactor over 500c but I didn't play with that reactor for long so that could just me not knowing how to use it
EDIT: tried to make hot carbon dioxide with a fission reactor, poor choice
been playing your mods for a few month now, and Fantastic!
really enjoy being able to do math in my games, particularly with reactors and electricraft. at times I wish power was displayed in base 1024 so it would read 64kw instead of 65.536kw but oh well.
also does your hatred of multiblocks mean that you would not like the idea of having batteries able to join together to add their capacities and current output together with a single input and output?
has the cooling properties of reactors changed at all recently? by that I mean that my old reactor setup could no longer heat up past 60 after I updated to v19. then when I removed the controller for the control rods, it went right back up to full temp
btw, my diamond supply is not happy with the 8 stacks required for a top tier battery.
I just updated to 6.5 from 6.4 and having issues. it does not crash when minecraft is started, but when I try to enter a world (even a brand new one) it just sits at the loading world screen and it says converting world. from their it is unresponsive and must be shut down in task manager thx a lot! love the mod!
previously I had run my modded server off my nicer desktop which I would then play off of. being a computer of decent specs and just a few people on the server, it always ran nice and smooth, no lag and the average tick would stay below 5ms. recently I moved the server over to a different computer that runs Ubuntu and that's when the issue arose. The average tick will vary from 10 up to 70ms which doesn't cause a problem but this was on a newly started server and very few of our machines/houses are completed. im afraid that the server will start to lag too much to be usable. the thing that really bugs me is that the cpu usage hovers around 3% even when it hits 70ms. any suggestions on how to fix this? thx ahead of time!
So I run a modded server with some of the main tech mods and Equivilent exchange. some of my players have taken these to the extreme and now have large farms of EE replicators to make what ever items they want at no resource cost. this would annoy me even if they wouldn't leave themselves afk for hours on end just to get more item. I always kick them off when I see them being afk but is there a better way to keep them from being afk and maybe slow down their use of EE? Thanks!

cant wait to get started on converting my base off magnetostatics and onto electricraft!

known of and I believe already fixed for v20
kudos for finding it though

its not that it wont limit the current, it limits it to 4x what the bands represent.
although I'm realizing I will have to delay using electricraft items on my server due to crashing so often when I break wires
