3: Test you theory in real life. Would an arrow set of a piece of tnt in REAL LIFE.
It probably would, early tnt was really unstable, moving it wrong or dropping it would cause an explosion. An deven if an arrow wouldn't set it off.....could one hit from a pickaxe do it any better?
I like the idea, but if this was used in SMP, would the players be able to hide it and if the "enemies" saw it, would they be able to cut it to disarm it with a sword or something.
well...wouldn't the stick burn up and disappear, so i guess either the AI of the wolf would stop it because the stick going away or the fact that it will not go near hot things. Or it will disregard all sense for the sake of saving the stick and die.
dirt blocks grows grass if exposed to light, so the torches will grow the grass, or what i did was build it on top of grass, i did not even know it would work as well as it did.
These sound like good ideas that would benefit players. I just have one idea, with the mud, this block should have pig spawn near them more likely and make pigs dirty if they roll in it. :smile.gif:
Oh and crystals need to be explained further, but idk what to do with them.
I really like this idea, but on the minecraft website, it says that the multiplayer is really buggy and it under major development. The current server system is just to help test the SMP, but overall this is a really needed idea.
I don't know if anyone cares, but a salt is one product of a reaction between am acid and a base. Table salt is made from the strong acid HCL and the strong base NaOH, aka NaCl. This is a neutral salt, if a strong acid is combined with a weak base, an acidic salt is made and vice versa for a basic salt. Acidic and basic salts would be harmful to the body, which is why NaCl is used in table salt. Also salt has to be refined to be usable at all, much like the sugar. It does sound like a good idea and i do support it. Salt can be used to fight advanced dehydration since the body needs salt to hold water. So if dehydration was implemented into the game, this would help slow the advancement of the dehydration.
To get mobs to spawn in your house, or at least how I did it, make your bottom floor have a dirt floor with some torches covering the walls. At night passive mobs sometimes spawn around the torches, so they will spawn in your house, but you might have to be a certain number of blocks away.
I'm not saying it is a good idea, but people saying that the time is unrealistic should think about the trees only taking a couple of days for saplings to become fully grown trees, or overgrown trees. I'm not exactly sure the average time it takes a tree to become full size, but it does not happen overnight. But I do agree that 100 or 1000 mc days do not translate into millions of years. Overall, not a perfect idea, but not a fully bad one.
Sorry for making it a link, I don't understand how to put pictures into the text yet.
Anyways, I get 5-10 animals every night and kill them for all the wool, feathers, pork, and leather I need. One morning I got excited to find a rare pink sheep, it really brightened my day
When I saw this thread, I thought it was going to be someone not using their head and posting one sentence about how saddles should be better. Instead I found a well thought out and explained topic that should be looked into further. I like this idea, but i have one question. If you were riding the spider at night and came upon another spider, would they two spiders attack each other, or would they look the other way and let you continue on your adventure?
