Better than Spore, but not by much!
It has a bay, a large mountain or two, a MASSIVE desert
No forest, just two trees and tons of surface caves
The seed is case sensitive and needs the !
You forgot to post the seed.
I'm pretty sure the seed is "Better than Spore, but not by much!" (no quotes)

Which armor, the straight up dolomite armor, or the the infused armor?
Both I guess.
I don't really see how it is OP

You can not take a step without hitting dolomite.
Nope, never played it, any uses (other than those not already specified above) for the dolomite in Dwarf Fortress?

Hahahaha, it also seems that those posts get so many comments by people who just want to get their number of comments up.
Apr 28, 2011Posted in: SuggestionsQuote from Michael_108 »Dolomite does have a high melting point since it is an ionic bond (its about 2000-4000C which is almost impossible to achieve). This is actually a good Idea but only thing is often will it spawn in caves and will it be too difficult to aqquire it (like obsidian 15 sec breakdown)
To not make it too OP, I think it should be fairly rare and spawn only near vast lava lakes, but not every time. I think it should require a diamond pickaxe to mine and take a semi-long time to mine, not as long as obsidian, maybe 6 seconds.
Apr 28, 2011If anyone has seen the Futurama episode "Seymour Asses" where the professor says dolomite will not cope out when there is heat all about, not a direct quote.Posted in: Suggestions
I propose this mineral be added to either make weak armor, but it is very heat resistant, meaning that you would not burn instantly in lava and actually have a chance to make it out before dying. The armor meter would be the indicator of how long until the lava burns you. Another option is to make dolomite infused armor, so the pieces of armor would now let you make it through lava temporarily.
This infused armor could made somewhat like this: =dolomite for this recipe =any armor
The infused armor would either create a new armor meter above the original one, or just the durability would suffer the longer you stood in the lava. And dolomite items would not survive being thrown into lava
Small update: Since dolomite shatters easily, the armor it is used in should not be used in combat because the dolomite in it will shatter and hurt the user. Or for the only dolomite armor, the armor would have super low durability in battle and have the same shattering affect.
I don't actually know if dolomite is heat resistant in real life, I just saw it on Futurama and it gave me the idea.
I know heat resistant armor has been suggested before, but I used the search and no one used dolomite for their idea.
Please let me know any comments, concerns, or supplementary ideas.

"Wrong there, buddy. It's saltPETRE, not salt, there is a HUGE difference.
Salt is sodium and chlorine. (AKA sodium chloride)
Saltpetre is potassium, nitrogen and oxygen (AKA Potassium Nitrate)"
Salt is a product of an acid and a base, not just sodium chloride...that is just common table salt.
AKA HCl + NaOH -> H2O + NaCl
