Idk i think it's also because of everyone is on discord now and also due to commercial stuff like before it was mostly community driven and now its like everything is driven by companies trying to make profit, or even individuals trying to monetize stuff (i can relate a bit i'm also always short on money as student but uhm, it's still sad haha)
