    WELCOME TO HALLOWEEN!

    Welcome, one and all, to Tricks and Terrors, a short, not-too-scary horror adventure map that takes place on Halloween night!

    Features fully resettable and reusable story with five endings, a dialogue choice system, music, and a mini-boss fight!

    This map fully supports multiplayer - in theory, you can play with as many friends as you have, however it was designed more around one to three. I recommend not playing with more than four or five at once to avoid crowding.

    This map uses an integrated resource pack.

    I'm not 100% sure, but on the two swords with blurry borders the edges of the textures are pure black, whereas the one with the full border has a gray edge. It might be that the pure black edges are causing a bug. Try making the edges of your textures a slightly lighter color

    Thanks for the advice, but I figured out a different way.

    Set up a chain of command blocks with repeaters running through them, then set up the commands in this order:

    /noppes npc (npc name) visible false

    /entitydata @e[name=(npc name),r=10] {UsingSkinUrl:2b,SkinUrl:"(url of skin)"}

    /noppes npc (npc name) visible true

    Is it possible to 'force reload' the textures for the NPCs?


    Okay, context: I'm making a machinima with the KeyGrip mod, which pairs excellently with CustomNPCs, but it would be even better if I could use the URL texture feature from this mod, which would allow me to have unlimited skins. I've successfully manipulated the NBT data of an NPC to change their texture, but it doesn't actually show up until I edit the NPC with the wand.


    What I'm wondering is this: is it possible wire up a command block system or key-bind to force an update on the NPCs' textures?

    This is by far my favorite mod of all time, but I just have one issue, which is that I have no clue how to set up a laser cannon. I'm aware that the wiki has a page for this (which is most excellently set up, by the way,) but sadly, that only works with the 1.7 version of the mod. The 1.6.4 version uses a different coding system, but there's no wiki page for that, as Cr0s's webpage doesn't seem to work anymore. So, is there any way that one could learn how to build a laser cannon for 1.6.4?


    EDIT: I also apologize in advance if this isn't where I'm supposed to post this question

    Use the "Facing" tag. So, for example, {Facing:0} for north, {Facing:3} for east, and so on

    Most things don't really feel that different. Minecraft 1.10 just happens to have the most different things. Actually, the only thing I don't like from 1.9 is the combat system. Nothing else in there feels like a mod.

    Personally, I prefer a vanilla feel to vanilla Minecraft, and things like red Nether bricks are nice touches. But getting to things like polar bears, magma blocks, and whatever those new ghost things are just seems like Mojang are taking all of their inspiration from mods. No offense to Mojang, but it really doesn't have the same Minecraft feel anymore.

    I think there were command blocks set up underneath the ground.

    By using a clock to test for blocks and the player's position, he can see when the portal was built or not.

    Then, when it is built and the player's in the position to light it, it places barriers in the portal.

    Then, when they go to check for the barriers, it removes them.

    Today I have constructed a map for the YouTubers POPULARMMOS and GAMINGWITHJEN

    It's a new addition to a minigame series of their channel - the BURNING MAP - STAR WARS SPECIAL MARK II

    Huge thanks to Pat and Jen for playing the first one! :)


    This map features three buildings : R2-D2, a TIE Fighter, and Kylo Ren

    With a brand-new, state-of-the-art Command Block system, and now with a built-in resource pack!
