Nice! It seems I wasn't the only one who thought about snagging a palette from the Simple Pack Showdown. I found all my stuff after a HD crash and basically started fresh. I have a few good idea for mine but I definitely like yours. Hope to see it finished in the future!

I've been texturing up a storm today. Here is the furnace, and the wood door, as well as, the crafting table. Any feedback would be helpful.

Really great so far. Love the colour palette you used too. I really particularly love the side of the grass, snow and mycelium. Really unique,

Thanks, I added quite a few more pictures to the list up above. Thanks for the feedback!

It's definitely worth continuing, it looks good so far. I like the soft dirt and stone as well as the moss, that depth it has above the cobble looks great.

The grass colour is a bit dark though and the cobblestone has a slightly different style to the rest of your textures so far, the gaps between bricks are a bit too dark.

Good work so far, keep going.

Alright, after some work, here is what I managed to come up with. The mossy cobble might need to be tweaked (as in the color of the moss) but I think it fits quite well. Plus I added a few more things like some flowers and the bed. Let me know what you think.

    Hidden in the Mist:
    A Simple RPG Experience

Hidden in the Mist is going to be a simple resource pack that takes some influence from early Japanese art styles (like cartoon rpg-ish with a blend of early Japanese art) and expresses them with soft colors and mild shading. Hopefully I can keep focused this time around but so far it seems like I will keep working hard to make this pack a reality. Comment and critique below. Also, I am using Steelfeathers Palette from the simple pack showdown with a few minor tweaks used for shading. Hope you enjoy!

There is a good chance some of these packs need to be unzipped and then put in to the folder. Most issues with that are caused by people who zip their folders into multiple folders, thus causing this problem.

posted a message on Dynmap - Dynamic web-based maps for Minecraft
Alright, so I have installed the Dynmap plugin for my Fragnet.net minecraft server and I cannot get the map to even load, as in the page does not even exist. The plugin is installed correctly and I even went through the settings in the config to see if that could be the problem. The address should be http://75.102.46.71:8123 but for some reason like I said, it is not working. Anyone here use a fragnet.net server and if so, how did you set it up to work properly? Many thanks (and maybe cookies for you :P )

In the past I tried to make a similar pack but at the current point in time, I have spent quite a few hours moving most of the files to the new format of resource packs. Does anyone know if it would be possible to do a fan update of this pack considering the owner has not been around for a LONG while? (Obviously without taking credit for his textures and the idea of making money would be out of the question entirely). If there is a way to make this work, I definitely do not mind working hard to bring this amazing pack back to life. :)

BrandonWhite, can i get your permission to post them on these thread?

So do you mean, can you post them here? If so, that is fine. I only have control of what post in the thread itself, not necessarily in teh comments. If you want to add them, that is fine :)

I'm sorry but from what I see you just don't have the art style that frenden has. The textures that you created just don't feel very similar to his in the slightest. His are very bold simplistic design, and yours just seem a little over-detailed. His texture pack works as 16-bit because of his simplistic style. When I see your textures, I see textures that would look better as 32-bit because of all the detail, which in 16 looks a bit blurry.

I find what you say to not only be vague but it is not helpful in the slightest. If you want to say something about the textures, point out the ones that you think do not look as good. I don't mind criticism as long as people actually refer to specific things, in which case, you have not

Can you add the chests from this picture? They look alot better

I do indeed like the way that those look, but I am swamped at the moment with school and work. Though, in the free time I have, I will try to get it to work out. Before the current meta, the chest was on the terrain.png file and was much easier to make per se, but I will try to give it a shot when i can. Thanks for the suggestions.

I just updated today with by finishing all of the inventory items. All that is left for this to be 100% done is to finish the last few mobs that were not done. Please enjoy/comment :)
