*cough* you know mods such as treecapitator already provide a more realistic behavior of tree chopping, even without a lumber axe *cough*, right?
also pretty sure it works just fine on every tree except the gimungous redwoods, those are nuke-removal methods far as i can tell.

Thanks, but I didn't ask about treecapitator, did I? I asked specifically if a TiC lumber axe could work. If I asked for mods that could handle this, then okay. But I didn't. I can search the forums for that myself, you know.

Also, there is literally no reason for *cough* emoting there.

At first I was like "ooo best worldgen ever! cake for days! no more having to make food farms!"

But then, when starting to rebuild my portal (it didn't gen nether-side), delight turned to anguish as the cake is indestructible (and uneatable) even in creative (world gen is normal w/out Natura).

    -snip-
Well, you didn't think that you would really get to have your cake and eat it too, did you?

The cutlass is already in the game. You have to find the mold for it though, you can't just make it. I think you were supposed to find it in a TiC building in a village randomly, but I never did, so I can't say that for sure.

posted a message on [1.7.2/1.6.4][Forge] Diamond Apple V2.0 2014/2015 NEW!
Just looked at the code for it. Basically, 8 diamond blocks + apple gives you the diamond apple with those potion effects he says in the OP. Oh, and he didn't state this, but it looks like a forge mod.

AyMaN, you should probably put the "[Forge]" tag in the thread title, and putting pictures of both the recipe and added potion effects in game into your original post would be enough to show what it does. Just take screenshots of them both, upload them to some image hosting website, and post them here.

Is it good if you release it now while it's buggy and let the bugtracking be done by the players themselves?
And they just report it here?
They wouldn't release buggy versions like that to a large player base, they would do it for a smaller group first. And, any large scale bugtracking would be better done in an actual bugtracker, not just the forums where people would continue posting the same bug over and over again. Only with that level of organization can they easily get meaningful feedback quickly.

And you do realize that whatever version he was using wasn't mentioned in his posts, right?

And even if the page isn't in his version, the way he was acting was in no way acceptable.
There's a right way and a wrong way to post feedback. And that wasn't the right way.
Shouting people down for acting like pricks doesn't convince them not to act like pricks. Also, your assumption that he must have overlooked it was just as bad as his assumption that the information hadn't and wasn't going to be added in.

Nope sure doesn't! I wasn't throwing a "hissy fit" I was showing distaste for the fact that there are 3 books to help get someone started with the mod and it doesn't have any info about how to make the cast.
However, it does seem that it was at least planned for the third book, maybe overlooked. The table of contents of the black book does list of a section for casting. If you would calm down and double check, you probably could see that.

Even if it didn't though, the books show a clear intent by the mod creator to have the important information in-game. All you had to do was bring up the suggestion that the casting process and ingredients be included in a book, and it likely would have been included in a future version, especially given this mod owner's activity in this thread. There's no need to get antagonistic over that.

Also, considering your statement about a lot of complex mods requiring on-line research to understand, I really can't wrap my mind around the fact that you have a distaste for someone trying to include books for the mod. Do you want the information in-game, or not? Please make up your mind.
