I tested the mod today and found out that the entire crafting for obsidian plates are gone, the blocks weren't initailized, and the recipe for a hoe was messed up.

But I went to Ottawa for the winterlude and got bored, so I spent ~7hours and re-coded the entire mod from scratch.
Just need to adjust some sprites and take some pics and the mod for 1.1 should be out tomorrow.
EDIT: There is nothing new, just the mod from 1.7.3 transfeered to 1.1, but I added a small config file to change the ID's of the items. Planning to add that to the atributes of the armor ad tools.

Second: I made one.
It is pretty easy, all you have to do is delete the contents of the file that generates caves.
Unfortunately, it overwrites files, so it may be incompatible with some mods.
I use it, and I noticed that there are slightly less ores with this mod on.

I had forgotten about them, sorry about that. I do like them and I'll add them to the list. I'm going to work on the candy floss today - Do you think I should make a machine for it? It would be a bit like a furnace - sugar at the top, coal/fuel at the bottom and it would turn it into uncoloured candy floss. Then you could add paper sticks and food colouring to it. I'm not sure how to code bubblegum (yet) but I'll look into it. And what about if for licorice - maybe vines drop licorice root once in a while?
I like the idea of the machine and the vines. Though it isn't my mod, it's yours.
For bubblegum, you code it like a tool(I think, look at the code for a sword or hoe) and say that it loses 1 durability per right-click.
Also, it would be cool if candy had a small chance to poison you, or if you eat too much.

I think this is a great mod, it leaves other obsidian tools mods in the dust. But maybe you should update it more frequently. I mean it has lots of stuff but it wouldnt be very helpful if it stays on a low minecraft version.
I've been neglecting this thread...
Anyways, this mod will not be frequently updated, because I have school and whatnot. Modding for me is now... meh. Mainly becase I can't get it working ever since MCP deleted my work.
I'll probably work on it during christmas break.
Nov 13, 2011If you are using 1.8, make the ceiling 3 blocks high and protect the floor with preasure plates. They can spawn on preasure plates, but cannot pick them up. Protect the walls with signs. Or you could go to the wiki (under the endermen section) and there are a list of blocks they can pick up and build your trap with... not those blocks.Posted in: Survival Mode

A suggestion for the api: make a function that allows you to disable the recipes from showing. I plan to have achievments for secret recipes in my mod, and don't want them showing up in your book.

Good news, you ask?
Reducing classes. Now that I know a little more about java and I'm not solely relying on tutorials, I realize that my previous attempt had about 20-40 unnescesary classes.

Well, I found out the problem, pretty stupid really, but it stresses another point.
The ID's were the problem. I didn't have any. But, yet again I ask someone with toomanyitems to give me the item ID's.
Now, I have over 100 errors(mcp doesn't move to the next file without the previous ones being perfect)! Yay!not
I may not be able to release it for 1.8.
I will include ItemspriteAPI in the next version; only one sprite will be used for the entire mod.
Again, no input.
