@Thechronomancer I'm sorry, but you may as well give up. This is just a fake. If he even sends it to you, I would bet my right two flanges that it's gonna be the Doors mod by ichun, but renamed to "BOTI mod" or something. He probably wouldn't even be able to change the mod details in the Mods section of Minecraft.

Oh, I won't take offense. Nice of you to preface with that though. I don't think I've very likeable online either, but I like cold, hard facts. Frankly, I'm not trying to insult you, I'm trying to get you to realize that it would be a good idea to step your modeling game up. While the models you have are good for a beginner, your models could be so much more. The models you have a very simplistic, and you prefer to texture rather than model. Also, as a side note, the proportions on the Dalek are very wonky. You're in the wrong mindset. There are many things on the Dalek, for instance, that could be modeled and not textured. Same goes for Venom and Batman. While the Iron Man model is in the right mindset, it's very simplistic. I know a little bit about modelling, and I could teach you privately if that is something you would like. I'm not quite as harsh to those I teach, but when I'm trying to condense advice down into a small block - well, it tends to end up sounding a lot more insulting and rude than I originally intended.

That's not true. You could claim ownership of the models, yes. But code that is stolen (which, by the way is very easy to prove) is not ethical and also probably not too terribly legal.
A ) Take a look at the footage and tell me that isn't the Doors mod
B ) If you're going to tell me that this ISN'T the Doors mod, explain exactly what the differences are, because I fail to see any.
C ) If you haven't seen the DWCM, go check it out. I hate to stand up for istein here (because he's definitely not below name dropping, and I can't stand to see something this unfair), but he coded the Transcendental Dimensions feature with little to no help - twice. Once for himself and once for iKing in the DWCM. He's coded over 60% of the mod as it is, and updated most all the old stuff so it could be brought to the final version on which DWCM will be released. He also found a way to implement proper physics mechanics into Minecraft, so this isn't a man that I would say has done nothing.
D ) A model of a door isn't actually that hard to make. I could make a simple one with one piece, and only a slightly more complex one with about 5-6. Some high quality models have somewhere around 116-150 (if necessary), so I wouldn't say that you need that much skill to make a slab with holes in it, along with some textures, or even the vanilla MC default textures. My point being: either improve your modelling skills or find a new modeler. I myself would make models for you (they're not the best ever, but they're better than a model with maybe 4 pieces), but it's not my place to do so.
I would like this mod to succeed, that is the reason I am being so harsh. It's not that I hate you, because I don't. I just don't prefer your modeling techniques, and I believe that the head of this mod should either find a new modeler or you should improve. Remember, practice makes perfect.

I love that sonic screwdriver model! It's so detailed and beautifully textured and wow the detail level is astounding I myself never could take over 2 minutes to make a model but it looks like you actually dedicated 3 minutes of time which is something I've never been able to do or even seen anyone do wow you did such a good job

Frankly, if there isn't proof of some sort, I wouldn't bother making a thread. Also (until you have pictures), I think having some of your past work that you have done already up on the thread would be a nice sort of proof that you actually have/lack the skill required.

I wouldn't even bother, except for making fire at long distances.That's like .25 of a hit point. Not that I agree with the idea, because I hate it. I'm sorry. Maybe if you suggested it to a mod developer or something. I would like that, but not in the default game.
