im sort of lost as to what they are telling me to do.
has this mod dissolved? seems like an absolute must have. exactly what ive been looking for. is there another mod that does the same thing that anyone can point me too?
wow. i go away for a little bit and come back and youve already started working on shy guys! plus all the extra parabuzzy models. this is turning out to be one of my favourite mods.
props on the shy guy model as well looks really cool.
hey man i was having the same problem. have you added your mob to the spawnlist?
in other words have you changed the MobSpawnerBase.java and the RenderManager.java ?
if you have just make sure all the names are the same throughout although it should give you an error if theyre not so if anything it might be spelt incorrectly in the mobspawnerbase.java.
im only new to this so i might not be of any help but jsut trying to throw my input in for prownes sake.
okie dokie. so ive had little to no experience modding minecraft but im extremely keen to create the mobs that i have in my mind.
if you feel you are able to offer any help at all please do so. and dont be afraid to critique my work as it will only help me grow.
after all the only reason im even making a thread for this already is because i could do wiht the help.
now for the mobs.
first. KODAMAS ^.^
i was supprized no one had atempted these little cuties before but anyway this is what im currently working on atm.
plans:
- to get the basic mob out.
- kodama sound effects.
- include transperency in mob.
- animated head rotation if possible.
- make them turn visible only when within a certain distance.
- tamable, they follow you but will not attack for you.
so far i am stuck with the code and model that wont apear when i test the game for some reason. (if anyone has any ideas please let me know)
i have a few more mobs in my head but thats where they will stay untill im completely comfortable with the coding aspect.
just currious when setting the rarity of the mob does a lower number mean more common? or is it the higher the number the more common it will be? thanks.
also. im not recieving any errors, however my mob isnt showing up when i test.
i tried chaging modelquadwrapped or whatever it is to modelbase and defined all the variables but still no luck.
any ideas?
hello everyone. was wondering if anyone knows where i could find a good sound effect of the noise a kodama ( you know from princess mononoke) makes when it shakes its head?
i would rip it straihgt form the movie but you know its got Joe Hisaishi's amazing music behind it so its kinda difficult.
thanks to anyone who may be able to help :smile.gif:
sorry for not being on much recently.
i havent stpped playing minecraft ive just been trying to create my own mobs. and well. java coding isnt the quickest thing to learn..
i should be on more frequently from now hopefully.
dude please sumbit your mod to JEB he works at mojang and really likes your mod and it might be added to minecraft https://twitter.com/#!/jeb_
Read 2 posts above your!!! (it was very difficult not use caps here)
@Br000ka: I finished your 2x6 launch pad. The only problem is that you can't survive the fall after you shoot yourself :smile.gif:
Shall I upload the world to mediafire or just post a video?
oh man whatever is easiest for you to do.
thanks a lot mate, ive barely touched redstone so its still hard for me to get my head around most things.
