I agree, that actually does sound "exciting!" I mean, its not like there are thousands of little kids who used to simply imagine all these things around them, with superpowers and secret bases and things that aren't really there, cause little kids don't do that kind of stuff, they only do things with stuff that is already there and real.
Its not like as those kids gew up they ditched the imaginary games for stuff like board games and video games, not because they became less imaginative, but because they craved more of a challenge with rules and requirements,
Its not like this would be the perfeect solution for both having an imaginary realm you could play in with friends, while still keeping the rules and requirtements that you started to love for a challenge.
Its not like... its not like... wait.
...
Tell me, honestly, what is the difference between sitting in a log cabin outside , using agumented Minecraft, and the difference between sitting in a cabin you made, hile sitting on a cumpter? There are a few I can think of:
You are actually feeling like you are IN the cabin, especially if you use the google cardboard goggles thing like Gamelord said.
Two, you'd be building this in your world, instead of a totally different world.
and Three, it'd be a bit more emberrasing to walk around with goggles over your face or holding your phone up at awkward angles, but only because now everyone can SEE you be a geek, and no more emberassing than playing Pokemon Go.

Ohmygoodness I've been thinking of writing a book around this very principle, that music IS magic, and so on from there.
I have other things to write first though, so I might as well apply.... As long as this RP actually keeps up, of course. I've been kinda disappointed, cause your awesome RP's have been dying out after a bit. Do you have a plot, a plan?

I think I see sorta what you mean, and I kinda like it. In Hardcore, dying is the ultimate punishment, because you can't come back. Its definite, and has no leeway.
But in Easy, dying can even be a reward, because you can get home quickly, and restore your hunger and everything, because of how easy it is to respawn.
You want to keep the game going with your friend, so Hardcore isn't an option, because dying means you can't keep playing. But you want to get rid of the feeling that dying doesn't matter, you want a punishment for failing to live, a challenge, instead of it just being a click of a button. You still want to fear death, but you don't want it to be something that punishes you out of the game as well as in the game.
I really, really like that idea. Maybe a way to do it in Singleplayer, as well, though I'm not sure how...
Anyway, perhaps something involving a player head, or maybe a zombie that doesn't despawn. Maybe putting a player head on two blocks of soul sand.
To go along with this suggestion, Spectators can be seen by someone holding their corresponding head, to provide a minimal way to interact with the dead person. Maybe. That could be neat.

The British girl seemed a bit annoyed with him, for whatever reason, so Elija decided the best idea would be to go along with it. "Uh, Hi then, my name's Elija. Nice to meet you. Dr Style came out just a couple minutes ago, and told us that we'd be rooming in that hallway over there." He pointed. "As soon as everyone is ready, we ring the bell and get started with whatever it was he brought us here for."
He shrugged. "So yeah. You can pick one of the rooms left down there to put your stuff."

Elija realised he was looking into an empty lab room, and not one of the places where someone else was staying. Normally, 3 times would be the charm, but Elija was done asking people to come. They'd get back out when they were ready, and not before, so there was no point bothering them.
He walked back into the lobby, where one of the girls was already sitting, and another person had just showed up, one who looked about their age. Maybe she were one of the few that Dr. Style had been so sure would show up.
He caught a distinct British-sounding accent, so that was interesting. He wouldn't interrupt. Hopefully the others would be out here soon, ((hint hint)), so they could ring the bell and see exactly what Dr. Style wanted to tell them about the stuff they could do.
((A very dignified British accent, I do see.))

Eh. It looks too fluffy for a cool counterpart. Riachu seems like something that needs to be more cool than cute, so it probably would have been better to give it a "sleek" and smart look, almost like the sharp and fast normal version, for physic.

Sounds good now, time limit and a few more details. You can rush in late whenever you want, I'll edit Dr. Styles comment.

There's a clip? I look at both of them, and at first its cool, but now I'm wondering what exactly these fishies are doing back there on the tail. They've all lost most of their fins, and now their eyes are glowing creepily. Its like this hive mind.

I KNOW WHAT SURGE SURF IS LOOK AT THIS
http://jb2448.info/picture.php?/22645/category/1846
That is Pikachu from the manga surfing on the sea with a reshaped substitute. This was the only pikachu that could do this, but now RIACHU WILL BE ABLE TO. At least, Alola versions.
At least that'd be cool. And while it could look like that, it could be other stuff. Like maybe a Moter Drive, but for water attacks. (Thank Gamelord for that idea), so like you try and drown this floating Riachu thing with a tidal wave, but the awesome surfer 'mon is just loving the waves.

Not sure why I'm not seeing what I posted about this, I'm assuming I forgot to hit "post" or there was a glitch. Sorry for the wait.
As for your phoenix, is there a "cooldown" on how long you stay dormant until you are reborn again? Even against the strongest of enemies you might meet, it seems a bit unfair for your opponent to pop back up after you kill them. Even if they just captured you somehow instead, you could find a way to off yourself and come back, escaped and powerful again. How long do you wait before you are reborn from the ashes?
Fab, that sounds a lot better. Accepted, though I'll be sure to mention if it starts to get OP again. A cooldown will help a lot. Your character will show up in the lab, after everyone else goes back to the lobby and rings the bell, and Dr Style shows up again.

Just to make this clear, like we said before, its the pocketwatch with the powers. Magical items are fairly common, so its not impossible for you to have grabbed one.
Also, this:
The extend of her ability let her not only control the time of the place in which she is, but can influence the flow of time of a person, a specific object or even a small zone if she so desires, such as stopping the time of an object and thus affecting the space, making it stand still on thin air or creating time suspension fields where everything inside them will be affected by her ability
I don't think you should be able to control other creatures/characters or their objects outside of herself, so the stopwatch powers need to mostly just be an area that includes her. So basically always that Suspension field, with her in it.
she can also accelerate or decelerate the movement of objects from slowed down speed to incredibly high speed, to even reaching the speed of light, making it move at tremendous speed.
That one doesn't quite make sense, since moving an object faster through time would only make it reach the destination faster, not actual hit any harder. Now, if she was sitting in a slow field, and she threw something, that would act like it was thrown much faster, since she moved it more distance in less time. To make sure this can't get overpowered (because the more time got slowed, the faster it would go. Accelerating something to the speed of light, even just a pebble, would probably take a sizeable chunk out of the earth), You can't slow time quite enough to throw or hit with things as fast as a bullet. They can still cause injuries, but throwing a rock won't blow someone's head off.
The final restriction is that there needs to be a cooldown. It doesn't have to be a super long one, but maybe it takes one minute to wind up your pocketwatch, and then you can release the spring to give yourself 5 minutes of freeze time. Something like that.
I'm going to let you keep the ability to duplicate an object, (since the rest of us have pretty powerful things as well) but only one or two extra at a time, and only for the same limited times.

After watching the rest of the group drift off to their rooms, Elija grabbed his stuff again, and wandered after the guy who said he would room with anyone, leaving his sister to catch her breath on one of the lobby couches. He nodded at Dr Style, and the old man nodded back, then hurried back through the door. The bell sat on the desk, and Elija suppressed the urge to ring it.
By the time he'd dumped his stuff and turned around, his new roommate was asleep, which seemed rather strange considering it was the middle of the day. But then again, Elija had always been a little strange with sleeping habits, at least compared to other teens.
He coughed, trying to find out what to say. "Maybe we should go see if the others are ready to see what Dr. Style wanted to do?"
After a moment, he realized he hadn't actually said it out loud, or if he had, not loud enough to be heard. Maybe it would be easier to ask someone who was awake, and then they could come back to wake this guy up.
So he walked back out, and poked his head in the first open door he came to. "Uhh... do you think we should go see what the Doctor wanted us for, a tour or something...?"

Yesss that was my first Mystery Dungeon with that trio, they need to use them.

Auugh oh noooo. You were actually one of the few I was remembering that might have joined, so I was a bit disappointed when no one I knew joined. Not that meeting new people is a bad thing, everyone who joined is pretty competent.
Specifically I told you I had something in mind that I wanted this extra character to be a surprise, but it seems a bit too late for that. Also, I was counting 5 applicants, rather than 5 people, which is why I was still here.
So aside from Game the special character who is no longer a surprise, what does everyone else think about letting in a new character or two? I'd have to edit Dr. Style's comment a bit so Endergirl could come in late and not mess with the story, but overall it should be the same. Mostly I just wanted a smallish group so that it would move along faster, and so hopefully the people who joined would all stay. But I like more people commenting and action as well, so I'm not totally sure what the best balance would be. There WILL be a cutoff, soon, where no more characters can join (probably), so I won't be able to accept forever.
Also yeah accepted, and you know when you are going to join so yeah.

((No problem, dialogue is usually one person to another in shorter sentences anyway :P))
"Cool, that sounds right, I think. Elija. I'm Elija, that is." He took her hand, shaking it. Generally he would keep his hand stiff as a board, as a joke, but he'd only just met these people, so he'd save those for later. "That's my sister, Skylar." She jogged up to them right then, out of breath, and nodded around.
Elija glanced around. There were only five other people here, not counting him. Strange, he would have assumed there were more people with this weird ability, because no matter how rare it was, there were still billions of people on the planet, after all. Maybe this was just the few in this general area.
Right then, a short, rather round old man bustled in, through an inconspicuous little door behind the desk. He was wearing a black shirt with a long white labcoat, the ends trailing on the ground. But he didn't seem to notice. His eye boggled from behind a large pair of glasses, and overall just had the impression of a tad off-center scientist. (if not quite mad)
He glanced over the group, counting, a smile spreading across his face. "One, two three four, five six seven..." He frowned a bit. "Hmm. Not everyone has showed up yet." After a moment, he shrugged. "I'm sure they'll arrive eventually!"
Skylar was too winded to object, and the little man was moving right along before Elija even realized what confusion had just happened.
"I trust you've had time for some introductions and the like?" He peered over his glasses at them. "I'm Dr. Style, and I'm the one who called you here. Your abilities are very very special, and we've never seen people with anything like them, ever!" He shook his head. "But I'm getting ahead of myself. Why don't you get settled in first." He toddled over to another door, one of the big double doors, and pushed it open. "Your quarters are all down here. We don't normally have people staying at the Institute, but I had some rooms remodeled specially for this. There are only four, so not quite enough for all of you, but they are large enough for two people to stay quite comfortably."
He gestured to the group. "Why don't you drop your things off and pick some roommates for the next little while, and then come out here and ring the bell when you are ready to start learning and finding out just why you are all so special." He grinned at them all. "Any questions?"
