I once decided to kill a bunch of zombies and skeletons using potions of harming.
It didn't work so I ran away.
I took out my bow but by accident threw my harming potions at myself which concluded in my committing suicide. Or genocide depending on what angle you look at it.

Quote from AceControlMaybe add some "cacti fruit." I guess they could grown on the side, pink, and they drop 1-3 fruit. With the fruit you could make a cacti soup that heals 2 1/2 hunger.
Quote from rarekwiebusThis would fit perfect in Minecraft and make the boring desert biomes less boring!
Thanks you all!
I followed the rules, no bumps and still got some new feedback even though it has been... what 2 months since I last posted in this thread?
I'll make sure to add more desert plant life suggestions in the future!
@AceControl: I'll make sure to add that to the thread!
May 7, 2014So in the latest snapshots, they added the feature that slime blocks can be put on a sticky piston facing upwards and any entity that is on it will get propelled once the piston is activated. (That's a mouthful)Posted in: Suggestions
I then started fiddling with the new features and noticed that the slime blocks only propel you upward and not any other direction. So I suggest that slime blocks should propel entities in all directions.
Here's an example:
As you can see, I have set up a machine to show this.
So the maximum height when you get propelled by a slime block on a piston is 7.5 blocks.
So what I have done is I have recreated that but sideways.
When I put a redstone torch on the gold block, it would activate the piston and push the slime blocks thus propelling the Dummy Pig to it's death.
Here's a second example:
Same concept, just more mechanics.
In this machine, when I put a redstone torch on the gold block it would like before, it would activate Piston 1 and push the slime blocks thus propelling the Dummy Pig.
But this time, it would also activate another redstone signal to Piston 2.
When the propelled pig is adjacent to Piston 2, the piston would push the pig to another direction and again, to it's death.
With this people can create complex mazes, labyrinths, machines, minigames and much, much more.
Plus, this is all directions, not just sideways. You can do downwards too!
So that's all I have to offer today.
Please leave some feedback, I would very much appreciate it.
Anyways, farewell and keep suggesting more ideas!

I support as long as placing the cactus is not as annoying as placing stairs or logs

Quote from SteveCraftwoodReally cool idea, I'd love for this to be added! I especially like being able to get your own broomstick. When they drop, they should spawn as a random wood color. 50% Oak 15% Dark Oak 10% Spruce 5% Acacia 10% Birch 10% Jungle
Thanks all! I appreciate all the support!
Mar 31, 2014So, there are 2 mobs that we know when struck by lighting they acquire a new trait. For Creepers, their explosions get bigger. For Pigs, they get zombified. So I suggest another mob that would have this function.Posted in: Suggestions
This new mob would be called the Wicked Witch. As the name implements, the Wicked Witch is a witch struck by lighting. Unlike other mobs, the Wicked Witch has multiple traits. The first one is that all the potions that it uses are upgraded. So harming becomes harming II, or regeneration lasts longer, etc.
On top of that, we have some new aesthetic traits. The witch's eyes becomes red and it's cloak becomes a very dark, purple colour.
So that's all I have to offer in this suggestion.
Please leave some feedback and constructive criticism, I would appreciate it.
And on top of that, check out my other witch improving thread right here!
This topic is quite scary. It is very 'shocking'. Hence my name.

This suggestion will blow up and set on fire a chunk around you. This is for Mapmakers and server type stuff.
And you get the villager madness particle effect above your head. This will be both useless and useful.
You don't suggest something useless. It's a fact.
Mar 27, 2014[quote]Guard the warehouse, bring a bottle of Xenophine, and don't forget to load your guns!Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Those were Captain Ross's last known words. It was 15 years ago, the barracks were filled with recruits with their daily training routine, the guard tower hardly found any problems, the warehouse was filled and there was no infection that is capable of wiping mankind as we know it.
And then.... it happened. 1:56 A.M, very early in the morning. A helicopter crashed near a river at the east woods. It was a research helicopter, meaning that it was meant for scientific expeditions. The cargo consists of canisters, first aid kits, a bag of cloths and others. One of the canisters broke and released a purplish goo known now as 'Exophine'.
Exophine was a very dangerous virus. It was created from a dash of dust from Chernobyl, some water from the Mariana Trench, and venom from a King Cobra. The Exophine dissolved the grass and spread throughout the land. People were turrning into indescribable mutants. The army were waken up early, and skipped their daily routines to fend of these 'mutants'. They used Xenophine, a virus that effectively destroy Exophine. However, they failed. And after 20 years later, the Exophine still is upon us.
That's where you come in. Your job is to prevent the Exophine from spreading and taking over the world.

Even though this is not linked to anything in this thread, redstone was so simple back then. There wasn't command blocks or heck, even the detector rail wasn't in.
