The main thing I wanted to say in this post was that further end game things would be nice. I just gave a few examples. I know that the game added more bosses, but the bosses aren't too much more difficult. Whether it's what I say, what other players say, or what Microsoft says, all I'm asking for is further end game things that players have the option to go to once they get to the point where normaly the game it's self relies on the imagination of the player, and many people call their world complete.
After beating minecraft(witch i never did), you should start building, expanding your world! Here's a perfect example: Stampy's lovely world.
Hes series reached over 250 episodes in the SAME world and its not boring at all! In fact, its just getting better! Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/user/stampylonghead The only reason i'm supporting this post is because ppl that are this creative are VERY rare,
so i think it would make other LP's more interesting. Also, it would probably be fun to mess around in creative with new items! LOL
Yeah i think they should add more end game items.Maybe add Herobrine that stays neutral until the player gets iron armor, and then starts proggresivly, attacking, and then you can have like a cool epic battle with him.It sound pretty cool, but i don't think it will actually be added, since fans have SO MANY miths about herobrine, and by now mojang and youtubers probably got sick of fans asking:"Is Herobrine real" "Who is Herobrine" "How do i spawn Herobrine" ect...
Another that hasn't been mentioned - what happens when an earthquake hits and turns 200 x 200 x 64 x 1/3 blocks into item drops? That's 853,333 drops! Imagine the lag - or an outright crash; even a few thousand entities is enough to cause severe world-breaking lag and crashes for many people, requiring their world to be repaired (from looking at this thread a large number of entities is a major cause of lag caused by world corruption).
I can also imagine the reaction of somebody who spent months or years on their world having it all wiped out in an instant - one less Minecraft player for sure! Especially if they just add it into some future update, and they locked their world on Hard. No way at all; a creeper destroying a few blocks is one thing but an entire world getting ruined? The fact it is relatively rare makes it even worse, allowing hundreds to thousands of Minecraft days of work to be lost (and trying to restore a backup won't work unless you manually edited the save file to reset the time before the next earthquake, tornado, etc; the game currently saves the time before it rains/thunders again).
If they ever add earth quakes, i don't think they will be that large, and also i think to be fair they shouldn't make items drop to make it more realistic, you know to add the "You lost the stuff" touch. Also, if they add this, i think they will clearly add an gamerule or an option in the options menu to disable this.
I don't know... If you are going to use this in a map, you can make command blocks detect when the pot is broken
/testforblock <flower pot's coords> air
link it to a comparator and place another command block that copy's a chest with items that you want to drop
/clone <chest's coords> <chest's coords> <flower pot's coords> place
conected to a repeator set to 1 tick with another comman dblock with this command
/setblock <flower pot's coords> air 0 destroy
with this you can make the pot drop more than 1 item+if you remove the first command block and replace the comparator with a repeator and add a button, you can use this as a kit selector(but you will need to change around some coords)
Well, you can trick a n00b into eating one, or maybe set up a minigame with a reward, and the reward is a poison potato, you now, just to make your friend mad!
