    I'm enjoying the map so far, one little thing.

    In a sandstone mine I found an enchanted pick with silk touch and fortune on it.

    These cancel each other out. >.< Fortune gives me more ores from stuff like coal/diamond/redstone, silk touch makes them drop as blocks instead of items, and the multiplying effect doesn't work.

    I'm not sure if you didn't know this or if you were just being mean. :/

    I found the "triangle" secret area, that stuff will help a ton.

    The hardest dungeon by far was the obsidian/bedrock area in the desert, but I succeeded eventually by:

    making some iron golems to take out the spider problem. Since they're so fat, they don't fit through the holes that I'm supposed to get pushed into. Every dungeon has a solution with a little creativity.

    Just got the last one, creeper and dragon were the hardest to find. Ended up scouring the ENTIRE "city of angels" only to find the stupid creeper egg
    IN THE LIGHT ON THE WAY UP. >.>

    Nevertheless, finished with what I think is a satisfactory ending. activated all the spawn eggs, locked the mobs in there with about 2 stacks of TNT and stood back. Glorious! I hope you do more maps eventually.

    Loved the map overall. You really overdid it with "the last room" though. Too. Many. Mobs. o_O killed my framerate ON PEACEFUL at the rate they were spawning. though outside of the lag it was a simple matter of finding the exit and ender pearling to it. Jungle gym was arguably worse because mobs block ender pearl teleports. >.< If you ever get back to this map, HALVE the number of spawners and use the mob spawner editing to give them all Speed II.

    Also found a bonus cave spider egg. I don't care if that's not on the monument, it's my trophy for disabling that fiendish trap...


    Due to this and popular request I have completely reworked the entire final chamber, and changed up the jungle gym aswell to be more player friendly.

    So, after a lot of thought, testing and more testing. I've decided to bring the map down a notch...
    At least at the beginning. First of all, I completely re-balanced the starting area with food weapons and basic tools to aide you on your adventure, and it now supports the guy who dies and looses (some) of the materials given to him.

    I feel the map is a lot better and more playable over all now, however it is still just as challenging as before without the slow start. Hope you enjoy!

    I've been having some MCedit trouble recently with crashes etc, and I've been kind-of put to a halt map making wise, so I was wondering if I could ask a major favor of someone.

    If someone could create me a 1000x1000x256 chunk of stone in a map it would be GREATLY appreciated.

    posted a message on Automatic Cocoa Bean Farm Using Water

    Hey guys, haven't really been looking, but I have not seen any designs for an automatic cocoa bean farm yet. This surprised me so I thought I might give it a shot since 1.3 is still "fairly" new to the vanilla.

    Basic concept
    - Cocoa beans grow on the wall of jungle wood
    - Manually push button to let water down over the cocoa beans
    - Water knocks the beans off into items

One would look great near my current SMP beach house, but it seemed to cause a pretty noticeable lag when running for some reason. Does yours cause that as well?


    It seems to only lagg when I'm walking away from out out of the loaded chunk area that it's in. But other than that it seems to run fine.

    SO on this survival server I play I decided to build a light house.

    It runs on and they rotate during the night, and turn off during the day using a day / night sensor.

    The redstone is pretty compact and complicated because of the limitations of space for powering all of the . It looks something like this


    I was going for a design sort of like this one:


    And so far, (it is not complete), but it looks like this

    posted a message on Automatic Wheat Farm Using Redstone Lamps (No Pistons)


    Hey guys, just throwing this tutorial for an invention idea I had earlier when these lamps came out. I wasn't quite sure if it would work so I went on my testing world to make this smaller version before I implemented on a huge scale on my survival server.

    Basic Concept:
    - Plant wheat in well lit area
    - Flip a switch connected to the area's lighting
    - Area is no longer bright enough for wheat to be planeted
    - Wheat will automatically harvest itself.
