    What is Medieval Weapons?

    Medieval Weapons is a combat mod which implements 22 new medieval weapons types, ranging from pikes and halberds to zweihanders and longswords. It also adds 7 new shield types. In addition to traditional Minecraft tool materials, Medieval Weapons adds bronze and steel tool materials. The mod also improves weapon functionality regarding weapon reach and player move speed. Medieval Weapons also adds caltrops, horse traps, and pitfall traps, and lockable gates.

    What is Medieval Architecture?

    Medieval Architecture is a mod which implements 150+ new blocks inspired by romanesque and gothic architecture. The mod also ads some furniture based on medieval life. For crafting these blocks, the mod adds 3 different workstations: one for stonework, one for woodwork, and one for furniture. This mod also adds 17 new stone types, which generate naturally.

    What is BodTheConquerer Core?

    BodTheConquerer core is primarily a resource manager for my other mods. It adds meteors, ice cicles, campfires, smells, diseases, temperature, sticks, fallen leaves, and ambient sounds to the game. When paired with some of my other mods, it adds ores, tools, and items used by those mods.

    I updated the mod. The problem with the bog biome should be fixed now. I also fixed the bug where the game would sometimes crash when the world would try to spawn animals.

    Thank you, SK_Stayreyn_Ender_Guardian, for alerting me of this. This is very strange, and the first time I know of this happening. I will take a look at it. I do see you have other mods installed; perhaps it could be a compatibility issue. Could you tell me all the mods you used so I can check? Regardless, I will make this bug fix a top priority, and should have a bug fix released soon.

    If you are looking for a mod that transports Minecraft back in time to the medieval times, then you've found it! Medieval Craft features weapons, materials, blocks, and decorations of a medieval theme.


    Medieval Craft is being discontinued as a single mod, but is still being continued in the form of several smaller mods, which are being updated and maintained. The links for the Minecraft Forum posts for the sub-mods can be found here:

    Installation


    • Download the correct installer version of Minecraft Forge

    About the Mod:

    Medieval Craft is a mod based upon actual historical lifestyles and events from the years C. 900 C.E. to C. 1500 C.E. It adds a plethora of weapon types and many building materials. It also adds many new biomes and 37 new trees. The mod currently adds 12 medieval ethnicities. There is also a calendar system, town system, battlemusic (in config default set to not play), and blood effects (in config default set to not show). This mod is still in dev. beta, so more stuff is still being added.

    Human Entity's Features:


    You can trade with most humans.

    Humans will have a personality type, ethnicity, social class, wealth, name, and job.

    Humans will add comments to chat.

    Currently, the only human with its job specific AI is the bard. He will tell jokes and play Greensleeves on the lute.

    Humans will spawn within a camp or town with a set job, social class, and ethnicity.
