Huh, I actually very much like this! It seems quite like a simple pack at first glance, yet there has clearly been quite a bit of work put into this, well done!

I have a two little complaints, though:
    - The cleanstone looks as if it has lines going through it. Perhaps this was intended, but this would annoy me quite a lot if I was playing. That's just a personal complaint though, I'm sure others would like this look.

    - I'm not too sure why the Nether Brick is green. That's just weird.

Overall, this looks like a nice texture pack, and it has potential, so good luck in it's development!
    :)

Thank you very much. I knew those strata would cause problems... I might smooth them out a bit more.
Oh, and the netherbrick is green because green goes well with red, and I thought it would look nice... It kind of does. :)

Welcome to the topic of the first texture pack I've created. I've worked little by little on it for a couple of months, and I have finished the terrain folder and a couple of mobs. It is imperfect, so I wish that you, the viewers and samplers, to critique my texture pack, just try not to be absurdly brutal about it.:steve_wink:

The basic idea of this texture pack was to have something that is slightly similar to the vanilla textures, just with a twinge of difference. I wanted this to seem like the world has evolved from the time of creeper-faced creepers to a new age. As the creature with the best adaption thrives, the new creepers are camouflaged.

Here are the pictures-see if you like it. NOTE: THESE ARE OUTDATED, WILL GET NEW ONES SOON.
    , , , , , ,, , Yeah, the nether brick is green. I think I'm going to keep it that way.

These ancient chests are still used today, they have pictures depicting ancient tools and monsters.

Can you see the creeper in this picture?

    Howabout this one?

Breaking example, breaking is now fixed.

Download here: mediafire (removed adfly for now, will bring it back for people to support me :D )

    Installation:
As this pack is a 16x, you do not need to download MCPatcher. I highly recommend getting the Patcher, because this pack has a custom water texture and will have a custom lava texture in the future.

All you have to do to install this texture pack is download it, copy/cut it, and paste it into your .minecraft texturepack folder.

To find the .minecraft on PC, find Run and type in %appdata%. Click on .minecraft and paste the folder into the texturepack folder.
To find it on the Mac (This method varies, you may need to look it up), you go to your disk, go to your user>Library>Application Support>minecraft>texturepacks, and paste this pack's zipped file into that texturepack folder.

To be added: Cats, Dogs, EnderDragon, Wither, Wither Skeleton, Updated Items, Those dang GUIs, Lava, Custom Colors, Bats

posted a message on [1.2.5] BetterSkele 1.1 - You thought skeletons were hard?
If you kill a skeleton that has 12 arrows, will you get 12 arrows? If you kill a skeleton that has leather armor, will you get some kind of leather armor?
I like how you upgraded an existing mob, not make a new one. You could try upgrading other ones, too, like a running zombie or a spider that lays eggs...

This, in my opinion, is one of the best 'New Dungeons' mods. Subtle, but still rather dramatic. Love the jungle dungeons.

First off- I'm not too familiar with this forum, please notify me if I need to do something or if I have done something wrong.

I'm suggesting a mod that I have recently thought up the idea for-an underground world. I have no idea if there is a mod like this already in existence or if one is being developed currently. If you are intrigued or are wondering if this mod idea of mine would be worth it, I'll list some of the ideas the mod would have... :Furnace:
    • It wouldn't change the minecraft gameplay much (Added tools, a ton of new creatures, etc.), only that it is entirely underground.
    • Grassy Dirt would be able to stay grassy dirt underground.
    • Occasionally biome caves will generate, like desert cave (sandstone from ceiling, sand on the ground in places), and trees will grow underground.
    • Most of the caverns are connected.
    • The caverns (especially biome caves) would be partially or totally lit by some kind of means.
    • Pigs, cows, sheep, and chickens will be able to spawn underground.
    • Groundstone ceiling, like the Nether.
    • Underground villages (in a biome cave)
    • It'd be world type, like superflat and default (would this be achievable...?)

Here are some ideas that I thought of that would not keep the vanilla-y aspect of the mod:
    • Generated structures like camps and small forts that you could loot.
    • A new light source called a solarstone. It would be very bright and would light up caves and caverns. :--+:
    • Mole-type creatures that can dig through dirt.

Please give your opinion(s), good or bad. If you are a modder interested in making this into a mod, let me know :P , I could help with textures/make a texture pack for its feeling of being always underground. Also if you want to add on to the idea, leave a comment! :)

posted a message on Cats, wolves, and pigs (Oh my!) [Bug?]
    Quote from likalaruku

I wish they would run around my towns & never follow me. I'd never make one myself, but here's an idea for a mod; you make it so the animals don;t follow you & they can walk around freely, but you can collar them (or leash for dogs) & they follow you & when you uncollar/unleash them, they just run around wherever you left them.

So dogs and cat would be like moving CD players, and the leash/collar would behave as a CD? Rightclick to put on, and again for it to pop off? Nice idea. They'd have to probably change ocelots and dogs a bit, though.

So, like so many of us, I update to 1.2.4. In my SinglePlayer Survival world, I have a temple for dogs, cats, and a railway with a saddle'd pig in a minecart.
After the update, I found that the dogs and cats would stand up and teleport to me everytime I left and rejoined. Also, the pigs who are in the minecarts would jump out and start running away.

I think it's a bug, is this happening to anyone else? Its annoying to have to go and put my dogs and cats back and do some pig wranglin' :Pig:
