posted a message on Optifine 1.12.2 crashing for unknown reason.

Ok, sounds like you are running IntelHD graphics of some sort. The logs can be found in .minecraft/logs/latest. Make sure the game crashes before you send the log, so we can figure out what the problem is. (Copy the test into a spoiler)

posted a message on Optifine 1.12.2 crashing for unknown reason.

You're gonna have to give us way more information if you want us to be able to help you. What GPU are you using? What Minecraft Version? What exact OptiFine version? Can you please provide a log from the crash? Thanks.

posted a message on Transparent blocks in cave problem...

It's just how Minecraft loads chunks. In this screenshot, it looks like your render distance might be pretty low. When certain chunks or blocks are out of a player's view (Behind the player, behind a structure, etc.) the chunks don't render. This helps with performance, and some things can look wrong at the right time. Try messing with your render distance, it might be the source of the problem.

posted a message on Minecraft Forge GUI, UI, graphics Offset

I've had this problem before, and I've fixed it using this method:

    - Navigate to Minecraft Launcher, right click, select properties

    - Go to compatibility, and enable"Override high DPI scaling behavior"

    - Also in compatibility, enable "disable fullscreen optimizations"

I'd say this has a 99% chance of working, but if not:

    - Check you have the latest driver from your GPU manufacturer

    - Go back to default resolution in OptiFine if using one (the screenshot looks low quality, so I can only assume this)

    Hope I can help.

posted a message on Optifine causing lag; huge performance loss [no other mods installed]

As tedious as it sounds, could you take a screenshot of all of the OptiFine options you can? This is most likely the problem.

posted a message on optifine 1.12.2 not working and minecraft not working

I'm unsure wether you have downloaded OptiFine from that site and are using it, or you downloaded it, realized it wasn't correct, and now it seems to be messing with Minecraft. If you are using the OptiFine from that page, scratch that and download it from the official site here.

What Minecraft version are you running? It looks as if you are running 1.8 mods with 1.7.10 mods from the look of the the version namings. Make sure all mods in the mod folder share the same Minecraft version.

posted a message on HELP SHADERS ISN'T WORKING WELL!

You can try Ebin shaders by BruceKnowsHow here. They are a combination of some of the latest shader affects along with some very optimized trickery that is insanely fast. This shader can get up to 250fps on a GTX 1060. (I must let you know, he does not have weather set up yet, so you might see some strange results)

Not much you can do. From the PC Part Picker list, it looks like you are running on on board graphics.

posted a message on Very Low FPS with MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X

Dude. 32 render distance is terrible for any rig really, stick to 16 man. You are loading 1,024 chunks which is not very reasonable. The combination of mods and that super high render distance is the cause of your lag.

posted a message on Unplayable Lag In Singleplayer Worlds

I have had a similar problem (laptop went from 150fps to a max of 40, with spikes as low as 0). All I did was completely remove any drivers that Intel and Windows had installed, then I installed the latest drivers from Intel. The problem turned out to be a "dud" graphics driver. All seemed to go well afterwards.

    increase RAM to 4G.

You can do that for no reason, but Minecraft only uses a given amount of RAM for the game to work properly. You will notice in the screenshot above that it is only using 35% of the 1GB allocated.

How long have you played Minecraft?: I have played Minecraft in chunks over the years. I started in 1.2, stopped at 1.5.2, and started to play again 1.8.9 - present.
Why do you want to join VanillaSMP?: I want to join Vanilla SMP due to the fact that I have been a part of a "Hermitcraft" like community on a very small server. VanillaSMP is the way to go for me, because I want to have a good time and make new friends.
