Godaddy doesnt allow me to attach a port to the ip for fowarding, and I was wondering if as long as my server is running on 25565, will the client automatacally connect to my server when they go to the subdomain?

So, I have a Debian VPS that has CraftBukkit (recent build), and I need help with something. ATM Im not really that good with linux commands, so thats why im posting here. I did look this up on google, but I couldnt find anything sadly....

I do this to start my server

root@mc:~/ McServer# screen
root@mc:~/ McServer# java -jar craftbukkit.jar

screen allows for the minecraft server to continue ruinning after I log out of my VPS, or if my ssh connection disconects, and I was wondering, if I do happen to disconnect from the VPS, how can I view craftbukkit? I want to be able to get the console. Do I have to restart the server every time to get it? Anyways Im pretty sure this is the wrong place, but thanks

Not sure why you would really do this...
Im pretty sure 80% of the computers out there will handle minecraft fine. Anyways if you are trying to reduce lag, you should make everything (but the minecraft itself) textbased, that way we dont have everything else lagging you.
Another thing, why ubuntu? Why not debian? Just saying...

Hey, I plan on making lets plays for different games, one of which is minecraft.
I will also be doing things with Steam, and have giftcodes if anyone wants to do them with me.

The minecraft lets play will start this week through next week, and I need some good people to do it with me.

You don't need a mic but it would be good if you had one.

Hey this is BLU3, and I saw a increase in the number of griefers who get servers from here.
If anyone would like any help with some good plugins or need help with rating their server for anti-grief please post here. Even if you think your server is completely secure it might not be. I would really like to get these griefers off of this server listing so that not so many servers fall victim to the griefers.
