The idea is good, but the price seems a bit steep. I'd say the price would still be expensive if you made the entire thing out of iron, but not to the point where it becomes almost impossible for most players to make.

Basically, there would be no generic viking insignia. The closest you could get would be that the figurehead on a Drakkar would almost always be carved in the shape of a dragon. Otherwise, the symbol would vary from, usually, viking to viking. They would usually be under one banner in a village or such. Other than that, though, no real viking symbol. And the offense is not directed to you, merely at the very idea of the horned helmet. One might be used for ceremonies, or such, but they wouldn't wear them into battle.

okay how about a monster that it really really rare that if it touches you it dispears and turns into you but you become a normal enmey so everyone is tryin to kill you but it lasts only 3 minuts and if you die or that time goes up the one who looks like you dies

This is without a doubt one of the shittiest posts I have ever had the misfortune to read. Between the absolute lack of punctuation, the lack of any attention to grammar, and the misspelling, the quality is absolute bottom-of-the-barrel.

Not only that, but the idea is dumb too, as he seems to be suggesting an NPC monster that can totally remove control from a player for 3 minutes. Plus, no thought into what it might do if a player is not within 3 minutes travel of another player.

Normally I find arguments like this a bit excessive, but in this case, the logic is actually rather sound. However, I believe he means changing the model and skin of a player into that of an enemy for some time, causing hilarity should another player encounter the victim of the new monster. However, the topic idea is poorly worded and theorized, and it will likely never make it into the game.

Aaaand my point is misunderstood. I was referring to TerraSleet's use of sarcasm pertaining to the idea of changing trees to broccoli and adding fairies or something along those lines. I did not intend to make you believe that I thought you were being sarcastic in any way, shape, or form.

    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: :stone: :cobblestone:

    :obsidian: = obsidian
Same stats as normal helm of same material, just looks different and has black horns.

Ahem, I really dislike the misconception about the design of a Norse helmet, and I personally take offense due to my ancestry.

    actually it is.

Except it isn't. Sarcasm is not a valid argument. Personally though, I find the idea of whale-bases a bit far fetched, but I don't voice that opinion via poorly done sarcasm and when the person who came up with the idea comes up with a valid reason why I haven't made an argument worth responding to, I don't claim my point has been proven without any logic.

Naw, that's a bit too silly sounding for my tastes.

If possible, I would like to request someone to make a personal skin for me. This skin should be a blue ninja with a gray belt, sash, gloves, and footwear. He should also be wearing an iron crown, possibly encrusted with a few common jewels, so that he appears to have access to the finer things, but is still a leader of the people, not of the rich nobles. He should also have blue eyes. This may or may not have to do with a clan I may or may not be making. PSST, PM me if you're interested in said clan. Yes, this tiny text is a shameless advertisement.

I can't believe no one suggested War Elephants yet! Unacceptable!

Large (I mean Mumakil-large), tough, able to clobber all in their way! Be just like the Haradrim from LOTR!

You could craft a special big saddle, which is more like a small house, and drive it around. Multiple people can fit in one saddle/hut and fire away with arrows!

The problems? Slower then every other mount (Faster than humans, though) and vulnerable on it's belly.

It's called a howdah. Also throwing out the idea for elephant sized scorpions with howdahs, ala Clash of the Titans.

On the note of dragons, there have been arguments over what they are, and there are really three main categories.
Eastern dragons were, indeed, gods. They typically had power over water.
Western dragons were, usually, serpentine demons, with wings, fire breath, and poisons.
Norse dragons were an entirely different thing from the other two. Ranging from giant fire breathing monsters with antlers that gnawed on tree roots, to wormlike beasts with lots of sharp teeth, there's no real stereotype for Norse dragons. The Norse were really the oddballs of Europe, if you ask me. The very stabbity oddballs.

Capturing implies you can train them. Perhaps in combination with chain or rope leads, you could drag them around as pets of a sort, them kicking and screaming all the way.

    Giant Anteaters
They would attack ants and spiders they encounter, occasionally bulling players out of the way to get at them. They come out at night, then go sleep amongst the trees during the day.
    Imp
Spawning in dark caves in lava pools, they will hide from players and steal ores as they mine. Also capable of throwing small balls of fire for small amounts of damage.

Piranha. They would spawn in small groups of two to five, and one attacking draws more groups. About the size of a one of the wisps, they would do half a heart of damage from biting, but bite in high speeds. They would randomly decide whether or not to start attacking you.
