Right now you need to work on that shading. Light bounces off objects into our eyes. Where there is no to little light hitting an object, there is a shadow. See how light interacts with objects, and try to incorporate light and shadow into your work.
Also, it's generally better to not reuse the same texture, but recoloured, for different blocks. Right now, I can see at least 3 blocks with the same, recoloured texture. Different materials feel and look different to each other.
Also, avoid completely bucket filling areas, like you did with grass. Grass is made of many tiny leaves. It's not entirely flat. Right now, if you hadn't shown me the grass in minecraft, and just showed me the texture in a 3x3 layout, I don't think I would be able to tell if it's grass.
I cain't go back to PMC and there's a long a and stupid story why and I don't want to go into detail because I will loose my head. These WERE on PMC a long time ago. I came here to start new with some new packs and updated old ones.
WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. If you don't like it don't look at it.
How will we know if we like it if we don't view it first?

I would like to join the union. I would like the Iron Tau with Iron protection. My texture pack is under development but i have made something :http://www.minecraft.../#entry27502687

You'd best work on adding depth to your textures. They're very flat
The grass should have the highlights more centered, so it looks a bit rounder. I can't see cobblestone being made from your stone, they look far too different to be the same material. I'm not sure how well scale stone works, either. The stone brick is nice, though. It could be better, but it's not bad. Maybe add some detail to the inside of the brick that pokes out?
I changed the cobble & mossy. I agree that they weren't so great.
By centering grass highlights, do you mean like this?
You've got some common blocks done. IMHO you should be looking at these in Minecraft and sharing screenshots, if you really want to understand how these will look. Context is King in the visual world.
I think you should make a few textures, and then show them to use. It's difficult to name a pack appropriately without knowing what it looks like first.
I've started making new textures for a new pack. Any feedback so far?
This is, on left: Grass side and dirt, grass top, stone, mossy cobblestone, & cobblestone.
On right: Mossy, cracked, and regular stone bricks.

I don't really see it. Can you show me?
Thanks! Yeah, it's soil.
Done planks and bookshelves:
Starting to really like 32x. Gives me some more possibilities with my textures.

Nothing wrong with weird. Interesting art pieces can come from ideas you originally thought we're weird.

I personally prefer the old one, actually. Makes me think more of molten rocks.

Is this any better?
@zamaj
Might be a bit late, but Fool's palette is nice. I think you should use it.

He's giving you criticism. They're very fair points.
