"Last online october 23rd"
yup that fits.
look i'm not saying forums are dead in general. GBAtemp and the Macrumours forums are very active for example, but I think it's funny to see how fast people here give up.

I remember how I used to check out the mods section here a lot. Now with both Curseforge and Modrinth most devs don't bother maintaining a thread here and I don't blame them.
There was never a guarantee that devs had proper version control here or that they wouldn't use some shady file hosting site.
I know Discord is one of the reasons why the social aspect of forums died, but proper modding sites helped in the killing as well

I’m all for these kinds of mods! While I like BTA and ReIndev a lot, they do add a lot of things that make it feel way less vanilla. From looking at the feature list here, it seems more like a bugfix mod, which is exactly what I was looking for!

Insane how this mod gets almost no attention at all anywhere. Only about 5 YouTube videos being made with the most viewed one only having a little over 200k views. This is seriously one of the most impressive Minecraft mods I have ever seen. It completely overhauls the game. It all feels so great as well. And for an alpha build, it works incredibly well.
The maps are fun too and the guns feels satisfying. That classic Day of Defeat feel in Minecraft is just awesome.
Seriously, more people need to find out about this.

I can't stand the fact that I'd have to join a Discord server just to download a mod, resourcepack, shaderpack or fangame or whatever. But sadly this is often the reality nowadays. A forum is just such a nice centralised place for downloading stuff while finding information about said stuff (Curse is good enough in Minecraft's case, but user-to-dev interaction seems to be at a minimum). I really don't feel like having to join some server just to download a mod and then having to rejoin every time that mod updates.
Don't even get me started on asking questions on most Discord servers. The people in there often treat you like crap when you ask a question because you 'don't know the rules' or their 'in-jokes'

Why do people still make bucketfill packs? It's been done since the beginning of Minecraft and probably the only good one was the oCd Pack

'Balkons' Weapons mod', or the more recent 'Reforged' are what you're looking for probably.

Thanks! I was looking at your twitter a couple of days a go and saw some nice modelling work by Raptorfarian. I really like the fact that you guys use Craftstudio, which makes the animations really pleasant.
It's nice!

I really like this mod, you've done a great job on it. Any chance on adding different birds?
Like seagulls or pigeons. It would work perfectly. I can already imagine seagulls flying above the sea and landing on your house and trying to steal your fish when you're holding it. Or pigeons searching for seeds and sitting on roofs.
Crows could also be nice of course.

Nice pack. You should make a version using dark clouds.
(Like these)
Nice job anyhow.
