This machine can cause a lot of lag, and could even bring slower machines to a halt. Also, it is possible to get the command blocks stuck in a loop, which could crash your world. Don't mess with this on an important world!

This simple contraption creates either a tower or a line that clones itself at a startling speed, and outruns the player. I'm not sure if this has been done before without observers, but if so, this version works well also. It doesn't have a purpose that I can find, but I figured I would share it.

1. Place a command block and imput the following command: "/setblock ~2 ~ ~ stone" Then place a torch next to the command block and remove the torch. This helps you situate the direction and area for cloning. If you want to you can replace the stone with any other solid block. Your setup should then look like this:

2. Erase the command in the command block and put in: "/clone ~ ~ ~ ~2 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~" (lots of squigglies, I know xD)

3. If you are ready for takeoff, place an Observer Block towards the stone block (see screenshot below) and off you go!

I know that's a giant signature-esque thing which may be annoying, but I've had issues with a person copying things I've done, and even if what I made is mediocre or worse, I like to keep my stuff safe from being copied.
