They can form in veins up to 8. (From what I've seen)

Diamonds are best found Y level 12, and spawn in random veins from 1-8 (I think)

You should be able to locate the save file wherever it has been saved. (Usually under %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft in a loegitimate version)

You can go to the saves folder and then copy/paste it to your main game once downloaded

Was in the end and was lining up a shot to take out a tower. Then the enderdragon came and knocked me into the air, and I landed with half a heart at the edge of the map.

No such thing as 6.1. There's a 1.6, but there is no official snapshot. There could be more stuff added before an official 1.6 snapshot is released.
