Bookshelf inventory sounds good. I'd add decrafting table. Everyone knows that feel, when you craft way too much ex. ladders and you're sure you won't use them later. So you would put them in decrafting table and voila, you've got your sticks back. But it isn't working on items with durability

To figure out what the new biomes might be, I used Jeb's images from https://mojang.com/2...nerator-update/ . Let me know if you spot errors. Direct imgur link (Version 3): http://imgur.com/gallery/tLR7ldx/new

Jeb revealed some new biomes: black forest, birch forest and savannah. before you start quoting "dah, source?" check the wiki.

posted a message on Isn't it weird how 1.7 gets most of it's biomes from biomes O' plenty mod?
    Quote from GrumpyDragon

If the biomes look like they're from Biomes O' Plenty, it's because that mod has pretty much every biome imaginable. It would be near-impossible for the Mojang guys to make entirely unique looking biomes and flowers at this point.

Yeah, that's right. Anyway, these biomes maybe exist in biomes 'o' plenty, but mojang made them different way. They look different and there CAN be features involving gameplay in different way than only biome decoration (ex. ingredients for new potions).

    Quote from Prince_Deity

To cut down on the redundant threads regarding upcoming update additions, the MD section staff have decided to make a single thread for not only the upcoming update, but all updates yet to come. This thread will be updated daily (if there is anything new to add) by staff members to keep it constantly up to date. In addition, when a new update comes out, this thread will continue to be used for whatever the new upcoming update is.

    Official patch notes:
    None at this time.
    Official "spoilers":
•Sprinting will now be activated by a bind-able hotkey rather than double tapping the "forward" key. It is unknown at this time if this will be a toggle or if it will only be active when held. It is also unknown if you will be able to use the old sprinting method instead.
•Ability to bind functions, such as screenshots, cinematic camera, and perspective, to custom hotkeys.
•Spruce trees will generate in extreme hills biomes.
•A desert mountain biome, which Jeb calls "Disco mountains", will be added. They will be made of stained clay of various colors and will contain dead bushes.
•Bug fix: Less "black spots" caused by shadows upon world generation.
    Rumors:
•1.7 could possibly be a biome and ocean update.
•While the ocean part does not seem to be touched on yet, this update does indeed seem to be focused on biomes so far.

If you notice anything that should be on this list but isn't, please send me a private message explaining what should be added, as well as a link to the source of the information.

posted a message on Are You in Favour of a Terrain Update?
I want new biomes as tropical island, redwood forest and mesa or wasteland.

I definitely support improving height limit. Big hills and cliffs generate only in extreme hills.

    The hat biome.

Trees are replaced with hat racks covered in various fine hats. 1% of the hats are Unusual hats and come with an enchantment. The rest are simply headgear with the same protection level as leather caps. You can wear multiple hats, but they don't give any further armor bonuses.

All mobs that spawn in the hat biome are equipped with hats. Beware of Skeletons with Unusual hats.

Players who enter a hat biome without donning some sort of headgear are afflicted with the "Poor and Irish" condition that is a combination of Slow and Hunger. Staying in the hat biome for too long will cause the effect to worsen, rapidly reducing health. Putting on headgear instantly cures the affliction.

Hats constantly rain from the sky. When they hit the ground, they turn into a Hat block that is much like snow. They can pile up over time. Hat blocks can be harvested by hand.

    Great idea, right?

    You've got a great fantasy :D

posted a message on What do you want to come to minecraft in future updates?
I would like to see a new biome and better terrain generation (similar to that one before beta 1.8). Maybe decrafting table could be good (ex. you craft too many ladders so you put it to decrafting table and get back 7 sticks. Doesn't work on items with durability)

What i think the most useless is .......... nothing.. everything in minecraft has SOME use and without it peoples builds might be not so good.

What about dragon egg? I think it's absolutely useless. It doesnt do anything and it's hard to obtain.
