Nov 16, 2013I got an E ending... guess I spent to much time hunting for investigation points. Oh well... family <>Posted in: Maps
All in all, very well-designed map! Loved the clockwork puzzle- I think it was my favorite of the challenges in the map. The end boss fight was kind of... easy... and silly.

Jul 27, 2013Both of your cats are cute. <3Posted in: General Off Topic
My neighbor had some kittens dumped on his porch once. He took care of them, but didn't bother with getting them spayed. After about six or eight months, the kittens become pregnant and had more kittens, then after bout' another six months, those kittens had kittens. It was a kitten explosion! Despite things getting rather out of hand, it was still incredibly fun to walk into his house and see sleeping kittens, playing kittens, shy kittens, curious kittens, and fluffy kittens EVERYWHERE!
Anyway, here's a pic of my golden, waiting for me to toss the ball.

I suppose the tongue-eating louse would be a fitting contribution to the weirdness.
Quoted from Wikepedia:
"Cymothoa exigua extracts blood through the claws on its front, causing the tongue to atrophy from lack of blood. The parasite then replaces the fish's tongue by attaching its own body to the muscles of the tongue stub. The fish is able to use the parasite just like a normal tongue. It appears that the parasite does not cause any other damage to the host fish. Once C. exigua replaces the tongue, some feed on the host's blood and many others feed on fish mucus. This is the only known case of a parasite functionally replacing a host organ. There are many species of Cymothoa, but only C. exigua is known to consume and replace its host's tongue."

So basically, you can aim directly at a guy's head, and there is only a chance it will hit?
Point blank or far away, in the head or in the knee... in Morrowind it doesn't make a difference.
Feb 16, 2013Posted in: General GamingQuote from c0rrupted_one
heh heh. Ok. Umm, are there chances with bow hits? I hope not, I am an archer-esque character and that would be stupid.
That does not sound too bad, I still just cannot decide to buy it or not.
I'm afraid so. Still... so long as your is your archery skill is above 30, you should be fine. Just bring plenty of arrows.
You may want to try watching some LP's and/or guide videos for the game. They're a great way for getting a feel for the game without actually having to purchase it.
Jan 24, 2013Dang... I was actually kind of sad to return to the land of the living. I just wanted keep going on my epic adventure; admiring the marvelous landscapes, scratching my head over innovative and fun puzzles, searching every one of the many enticing side passages for diamond blocks (5 total at the end)... But I can't anymore because I'm alive...Posted in: Maps

Dec 10, 2012Maybe some clutter, to give your residential area a busier, livelier look? Crates, barrels, clothslines, carts, sheds, personal gardens, log piles, and any other odds and ends you can think of. A lighting system would be cool too; for example, a network of decorative lanterns for the wealthier residents, while something more simple like torches on wooden posts for the poorer folks.Posted in: Screenshots
Love what you've done so far! The medieval fantasy houses look splendid, and the new road/canal wall is a plus as well- definite improvement from the initial wooden walkway. I hope you keep working on this town- judging from what you've done so far, I'd bet it will turn out incredible when it's finished!

Hello, BlockMage. I apologize for for the spelling errors you came across with on your adventure, but you have to understand that I am not a native english speaker and NemesisVM did not have enough time to rewrite all the texts I inserted after he created the story.
No problem. Honestly, I'm just grateful that you went to the trouble of making such a high quality map in your nonnative language. Gives monolingual people like me a chance to experience the adventure in it's fullest!
And I know that the obvious hints could spoil some puzzles for some people, but there are not many on par with you, and even with those hints, as hard as it may seem to believe, some may still have difficulties solving them.
As for the number of diamonds you had in the end, the diamond blocks you receive in the treasure room do not count, so it is very hard for me to believe that you found more than 50 diamonds, as some of them were almost impossible to find. If you did, I apologize for not trusting you, it's just that I know how hard it is to get all of them.
Hehe, I was wondering if I was going to get by with that. ^^ The actual number of diamonds I had before breaking down the blocks was somewhere around 41-42. (I can't check the exact number- they all got blasted into oblivion )
Also, I want to thank you for all the praises brought to the map as well as for the criticism, it is very important for me to get feedback. I know the story was not that good, but we handled it just after we made the map, and I had no idea what kind of story would blend with the temple, so I had to come out with this low level story.
Thank you again, you made my day with this comment,
I meant every single of those complements I wrote. And as far as the story goes, I'd rather have a map with incredible gameplay and a mediocre story than a map with horrible gameplay and a wonderful story.
P.S. I would very much apreciate it if you could tell me what KOTS is, as I have never heard of it before. Thank you in advance

Dec 24, 2012Posted in: Screenshots*FEYRUHN*
Feyruhn is my personal piece of paradise. I was never able to find an RPG city in all the games I've played that shared my vision. Sooooo.... I am creating it!
5 years in the making (so far), Feyruhn is one of the Largest cities you will come across in a non-creative environment with each block placed including landscaping to achieve a maximum aesthetic value, and after a multitude of arm twisting from the players on my server I am creating this thread dedicated to it's Fruition.
Feyruhn is made up of 8 Districts, The City District, The Frontier District, The Market District, The Moors District, The Temple District, The Northern Frontier District,The Castle District and The Harbour District.
The Feyruhn City District
Is considered the wealthiest District in all of Feyruhn With a slightly Elvish influence in it's design, Vast streets, Paths and Rivers weave there way through the district and can be seen in it's entirety by traversing it's rivers in a boat, or if preferred by foot. Many Large Chateau's as well as some Player houses exist in this District. (Status: Complete)
The Feyruhn Frontier District
This area Contains the seaside Medieval village of Fort Feyruhn and is unique in that it's design was incorporated into the natural terrain surrounding it, Massive hills and scenic trails cover it's vast treescapes. Fort Feyruhn was the 1st district created that had it's beginnings on a 1.4 beta world back when large mountains were generated with multitudes of trees naturally. This area also contains Rails for local transportation and all of the world portals as well as multiverse portals. The Frontier district also contains the Skyway Hub that house's rail transportation out to the vast world of Elysium. Vast Cliffside dwellings and an underground Mining colony can also be found in this district as well as treehouse dwellings.(Status: Incomplete) A massive Port will be added in the future.
The Feyruhn Market District
In the heart of Feyruhn, this district contains all the largest place of commerce in all of Elysium. The Market area surrounds a Massive Mob arena known as "The Pitt of Souls" That is a sight to behold. In the center of dank dark corridors is the player area its self. This Arena is an adventure on it's own and was created by Sin90 an incredible designer in Elysium. The Market district also contains other activities such as The Spleef Arena, and the Tedious Silverfish challenge known as "The Sanctum". Many Factories surround the Market place appealing to it's economic theme. (Status: Incomplete) More Factories and Activity builds planned for this District.
The Feyruhn Moors District
Also known as the Stillwater Moors is considered the Poor to middle class District in Feyruhn, The Moors contain multitudes of swamp lakes surrounded by a medieval farming community in many areas. Row houses and ghetto's can also be found amongst the Moors. Vegetation is thick in this District and Vines grow from just about every crevice. Downtown Stillwater is in the Heart of the Moors and has a bit of a western feel due to its vast connecting and numerous Balconies overlooking the streets below. Aged architecture is in abundance and sets the tone for it's economic standing. (Status: Incomplete) Many more houses, Universities, Agricultural developments and the PVP Arena will be added to this District.
The Feyruhn Temple District
This District was Strictly built by Sin90, Who also Designed and Built our fabulous Mob Arena. The Temple District includes Sins Massive Castle and a Full scale rendition of the Cathedral from Oblivion. One walk through this district and you'll understand why we named it the Temple District. Very symmetric and detailed designs give you a very culturistic impression. We're talking high society worship!! Have a Tour and be sure to Give Sin90 a Holler for his Fantastic work!!
The Feyruhn Castle District
A small Mountain Range surrounded by all Districts contains a Castle known as SilverWick. This District Looks very small in contrast to it's surrounding disticts but looks can be deceiving as under the castle lies the Silverwick Burrows. The Burrows are made up of multi-levels all on top of a massive underground City
Carved into the rock faces below almost with an Incan influence. A massive Lake resides under the Castle with a glass bottom seperates the Upper Burrows from the Lower Burrows with Viewing tunnels strategically placed for viewing from above, or viewed first hand by taking 1 of many elevators to take you to the Lower Burrows to see it from the Bottom up. (Status: Incomplete) This District only has a few details to be done to be complete.
The Northern Frontier District
Dense Forage laces this district in it's lower area's until you ascend up the Mountains to the Snow covered upper village called Nordmar (After my love for Gothic). This is a Vast District including an area of Steampunk Delight down "Steampunk Lane". Take the Minecart tour that provides some great vistas in this highly diverse area. Adventure Awaits!!
The Feyruhn Harbour District
This Area is the Newest District in Feyruhn and my personal Favorite. Bayshore Housing Galore!! This is the Harbor town you've all dreamed of vacationing at and the city horizon with it's depth and Rooftop peaks make this area a Delight to explore. A very diverse design, with Towers, Watermills and Houses straight out of your Fantasy imagination.
(Right Click open in new window or Tab)
More Districts to come!
There are so many Large and Fantastic Builds out there and I plan on contributing in this fashion in the Future, But my goal with Feyruhn is a bit different. Instead of making one epic and amazing build I set out to create a city made up of thousands of Components all being part of a greater whole, a Single entity in it's entirety Known as Feyruhn. I will be posting Screenshots on this thread regularly of what is done and what is planned.
Feyruhn can be visited by anyone anytime as our server is Greylist, meaning you dont have to be a member to explore. You can find Feyruhn and many other incredible player builds at Crafters Guild.
I'm always open to new ideas and welcome any suggestions and additions.
I'll Start with one from each district and begin with one of my Favorite Houses overlooking one of the many Rivers found in
The City District (right click open image in new tab to see full size.)
The Seaside Inn and Wizards Tower in The Frontier District
Factories and Market Place in The Market District
Downtown StillWater in The Moors District
Upper SilverWick Castle in The Castle District
More to Come every couple to a few days and if you have a request for screenshots just Holler !

Oct 15, 20132good4u2 posted a message on Salthaven 2.0 - New City & World Download - 2014 UpdateUpdate: New city addedPosted in: Screenshots
Last year I posted Salthaven. A set of crowded, unstable looking, steampunky towers. The towers are now the centerpiece of a new city, build on and living of the sea. I tried to make the city feel detailed and alive. It build in layers stacked on top of eachother towards the center, with the wealthier citizens living on top and the poor in the small allies beneath them, just above the water level. Salthaven is made to be self-reliant, but is also a central point for traders and travelers.
The project's not finished. Approximately half of the buildings have interiors. Most of the outside-work is done. You can now download the world file and explore for yourself. I recommend playing with a resource pack like John Smith, Conquest or Halcyon days. SEUS shaders make everythingmore beautiful too! I've played very little minecraft over the past year and probably won't update the project much myself. I'd love to hear if you use this build somewhere, or make some additions yourself.
Some of the old topic:
[quote]Hello all. A while ago i started working on this crazy idea to create these unstable looking medieval towers with a bit of a steampunky theme. Basically two wobbly medieval skyscrapers. Everything below is still work in progress. I try to add detail where I can, with ropes and buckets scooping up water from the lower floors and furnaces in the bottom delivering steam (warmth and water) to the top floors. The tower on the left is completely divided into different apartments, partly interiorised, with walkways and stairs leading to each front door. The tower on the right is still being polished. Please disregard the larger structure on the side there for now. A cinematic video. For some reason the recording went wrong and I didn't realise how low the quality was until after the rendering. Watch in HD for the best result. I'll make another attempt soon. [quote]PMC Link: http://www.planetmin...owers-and-town/ The smaller boats and the Ship on the right there are contributed by Raitis34.I recently added this block of houses behind the towers. The goal was to have two layers on top of each other, with the wealthier on top and the poor living in darker allies beneath them. I think it worked out okay, though I'm not perfectly satisfied with the result. Maybe I should add more of these to the sides of the towers....And then there's this ridiculous experiment. You may have spotted a bit of it in the previous screenshots. I took one of the towers, copied, rotated, flipped and pasted them into this city inside a canyon. I don't think I'll every try to complete this. Here's an unfinished render and some shots:The texture packs in all screenshots are John Smith and Conquest (based on John Smith).Feedback is appreciated

This project has been on hiatus for like a year. A download link for the world save is here:
Originally the builders designed the cathedral with nine towers, including a massive lantern tower in crossing. All the towers are built now. Estimated size is ~215x125 with height of tallest towers between 190-230 blocks.
I will keep the first post updated with progress & new photos.
Older in progress pictures here.
Update #10 18/06/2013:
Last update seems to be from over a year ago, oh well. Some nice guy uploaded a bunch of new blueprints to Wikimedia: http://goo.gl/fgW1V
I cleaned the junk littering the cathedral's surroundings, looks a lot tidier now. Choir (north part) is steadily progressing. It doesn't look that good yet but hopefully it will improve when I finish the vaults and start building flying buttresses.
I added some color, walls and the wooden screen inside the cathedral. Making all the pieces fit with circular shapes is pretty time-consuming. The little chapels surrounding choir look pretty good so far. There's lots of room below them, but when I add crypts and crypt windows I'll get rid of the empty room in the lower walls.
Since now I have a nice plan of the crypt too, so it will be easy to build. I'll leavet it last though, since it has least impact on the project and isn't that mandatory.
I took ~20 new ingame screens, enjoy! Thanks to improved GLSL shaders the game runs pretty playably (30-40fps) at 2560x1600, so I use the settings all the time while building.
A sketch of what the build will look like when finished:
Update #9 11/06/2012:
Because of football I don't have much time to talk or take screens
But basically I've done a version of the central tower. It needs more detail of course but at least it's better than an empty hole so far.
I'm also replacing other towers'r roofs with a different design, trying to add more detail to them etc.
Update #8 08/06/2012:
Nave roof is now kind of complete. I forgot transepts are narrower so I can't just copy/paste the roof. Next I will probably expirement with the huge lantern tower which I planned to slap right in the middle of the cathedral. Since the base is not square I have no idea if it is possible to build a decent looking tower there.
It's nice to be making some progress after such a long break
Update #7 06/06/2012:
So there has been a couple of months since last update, but I've finally managed to do some progress. Did a part of the nave vaulting and woodwork supporting the roof.
No idea yet though should I use some kind of colored pattern on the roof like I did with my previous cathedral, so no roof yet.
Update #6 3/25/2012:
Finished south side's portal. 1 block wide pillars on both sides of main door look too thin. Maybe I need to make them 2 block wide as in north side. Also made apsidal towers. Those 4x4 mini towers don't look that good, 3x3 or 5x5 would probably be better.
I need to clean up the surroundings some day. Already deleted a sandstone church I used as a template because it cast shadows over my current build, but there's still lots of junk around. Maybe I should just move them a lot further away instead of deleting them.
Update #5 3/24/2012:
Finished the north porch. It could look better but I already took a week doing this small piece because I wasn't able figure out how to arrange the blocks better. The shader mod and fancy textures make everything look unrealistically good, so maybe it isn't that critical.
Added also a few random shots
Update #4 3/17/2012:
Did a bit of northern transept... porch in front of doors is not done, so it is not visible for now.
Found about GLSL shader mod & Sonic Ether's shader pack. Looks nifty.. Also changed my texture pack from default to Ovo's Rustic Redemption. I used Johnsmith before this project, but it has gone artistically into wrong direction in my opinion since v9 so I had to move on.
I don't like the towers in north much. Wood is temporary material while I figure out what to use instead. The whole tower arrangement may be temporary since I'm not sure I like those at all We'll see.
Update #3 3/14/2012:
Managed to raise the northwest tower to maximum height. I estimated 190 and the actual height is now 194.. pretty close.
Since I'm not in a mood to make vaulting/woodwork/stairs, the tower is currently empty. The stairs will rise up to 177 height, so you can't get to hug the cross on top, but pretty close nevertheless.
I'm sorry about all the junk laying around, but I make variations of stuff but I will clean everything up as a finishing touch Next I'm probably going to build north or south transept's end & towers. They are pretty much the same so hopefully I can save time by making only 1 version and copypasting it to both sides
Update #2 3/14/2012:
Made progess with the higher tower in west. Still missing 2/5 of it, but eventually it will be finished. I didn't realize it would be so high!
Also got the western wall done from inside.
The project's scale is determined by detail level. I want a certain amount of detail, so that dictates how big the building will be. Compared to real life 1 meter is roughly 1,5-2 blocks ingame.
Update #1 3/12/2012:
Progress with west (main) facade & surrounding towers.
I found a book illustrating the use of polychrome colors inside the cathedral. I'll hopefully expirement with colors inside the cathedral after I get the walls up first and then see how colors (wool) look
Also uploaded a sketch illustrating the finished cathedral with all nine towers to get a clearer image about what I'm building.
Even older pictures:
^ inside walls are painted in colors, I will expirement with them later and see how they look.
^ nave, looking west
^ nave, looking west
Thanks for watching!
Jan 19, 2014Here's a bunch of screenshots of the mining town of Monadail in Alba, a town I've been working on for several weeks (months by now) on the Fealorinaan server.Posted in: Screenshots
Please note that not everything in the screenshots was built by me. Eventhough I made the city wall and the majority of the buildings, the buildings with the very steep roofs were made by Kvikling, the landscape and river were sculpted by Lunareala, as well as the bridge and some of the interiors of the houses. The fortress (wip) way up on the mountains was largely made by Zorandar, and the long and winding road leading up to it stuck against the mountainside was a project completed by Kvikling and me.
I'll start of with this view towards the city wall and access gate of Monadail;
The marketplace, which is surrounded by some of the largest homes for the wealthier inhabitants;
View towards the storage building, as you can see some of the roads/paths in town are quite narrow and give you that nice city feel;
Another narrow path (I tried to let all roads and paths flow with the existing terrain) leading towards the apartment complex;
View inbeteen some middleclass housing;
The seating area of the inn at the back (Inn built by Kvikling)
The miners guild building (by kvikling again)
A different view at the market, you can see the fortress, still under construction, at the top of the mountains
That's it for now, hope you like it, and as always feel free to comment

Oct 21, 2013So this time around I've finally finished something I've been wanting to build for awhile. Sepulchure the Doomknight has been one of the BEST all time villains of Artix Entertainment, being the main antagonist of their game Dragonfable, as well as meeting an early death in AQ Worlds. However for being an un-living embodiment of doom and awesomeness, no gamer who has followed his conquest throughout the course of both games has never really paid their respects to him.Posted in: Screenshots
Anyways I decided to start building a scaled- blocky version of him, using reference photos of him from cutscenes in Dragonfable and what not, and mapped out his body as it would if it had realistic proportions. Here's the end result, and to the guys at Artix Entertainment, battleon! Also you can find the rest of the album here at http://imgur.com/a/K4EP2#0
