I am having Ridiculous time with portforwarding and decided to use hamachi, bad idea.... Hamachi gave my computer a nasty virus in which i had my local Computer expert remove. There is no Excuse for renting a server but i'd rather host it on one of my local machines than Renting one because i want full control of what is going on and handle troubleshooting if the computer/server dies. I'm also planning on hosting other games for me and my friends to join on.
Why Port Forwarding Does Not work:
1. I'm on a multiple router network and my server is on the end of it.
2. Everything is dynamic IP
3. I'm not allowed to modify the routers as last time i did trying to port forward i caused a network to collapse.
4. I tried asking Portforward.com for help and they have not gotten back to me for 6 months and counting.
5. To frustrating on a complex Multi Router network.
Why Hamachi Doesn't work:
1. Contains viruses
2. Limits amount of users.
Want to try:
1. VPN if it costs money 5 USD or lower
2. anything similar to a VPN that i can easily Host servers on.
I'm trying to get a hold of Tunnel Bear at the moment and won't get a reply until tomorrow of this post's date.
i tried looking at openVPN and AirVPN but the websites where attempting to unload malicious data onto my computer.
This is an update to this topic: Currently I'm Having issues with Ender IO and Optifine. I use Optifine because it drastically improves game performance on my AMD Computers (Intel not so much, and i don't know about Nvidia Graphics, in which i would just plainly buy a new $500 graphics card but i don't have the money for that) compared to not having Optifine there is a 32.9-84.7 FPS change using it and not using it.
is there a way to tell Optifine to Ignore Optimizations towards selected mods? I think there can but at the same time doubt it. as i see certain things like Fast Math [Or some other Mathematical Rendering method will most likely cause issues.] another thing is it could be redundant because if you could blacklist a mod from being rendered by Optifine that means there would be two lines of complicated math the computer will have to merge together and calculate which will make the game performance drag dramatically.
Also note that Optifine has removed all Standard versions as they are obsolete. so using an older standard version is out of the question. one thing i do wish since many of us use 1.7.10 still is talk to the mod authors and ask to make it compatible. (I did that by the way and they have not relpied yet. or the stupid technology placed me in there junk box...)
Hello if you may, Will you have a config file to edit if you have the crosshairs or not. it just bugs me when i go to survival mode and don't have the crosshairs. BUT! i do like this mod but i do think the head is a little to much, when i have multiple cameras in one place I'm also filming one of the fake entities, if you can make a Camera looking entity it might be a bit comfortable, That also reminds me about have in it in a ghost form (transparent) but still can be seen which can also be controlled in the config file.
