Let me know if this is the wrong place.
This NEEDS to be fixed.
Anytime I save the game, and re-load it, and happen to have done so anywhere near lava. I will spawn IN the lava, die and lose all my stuff.
I save, maybe unknowing of the lava lake below like so:
And then reload, and it turns out like this:

Anyone else notice this happen? It's REALLY annoying!

I'm looking forward to the news, MrTorus, but don't rush on our account. :3

I've never heard that in my life.
DDOS is normally stupid kids doing stupid **** to be stupid.
Like "Hey, I just figured out how to DDOS!"
"Really? We should do that to someone... What's a popular thing right now?"
"Yeah! Let's DDOS minecraft!"

Everyone who bought the game expected it to be "finished" someday...etc etc.
Nicely put, MrTorus. I also love this thread so I can keep being excited for the future of Minecraft.
Quote from NMajor »This thread makes me laugh.
I never understood the point of going on a forum and just blindly dismissing the reason for the thread existing. It's only going to **** people off and make the thread defensive... Isn't there a word for that?
Oh yeah. Trolling.
Oct 18, 2010Spiders with webs... I hadn't thought of that...Posted in: Suggestions
I wonder if it'd be possible to program a spider mob (maybe a smaller version) to make a web in an area you can't see unless light hits it, and it hides until you come by and get stuck. Then eats you.
Sounds like complicated AI, but maybe not?
Oct 15, 2010I have to agree that longer nights = more monsters = more difficult game. I like the current balance the game has between day/night but it would be interesting to test different lengths.Posted in: Mods Discussion
Concerning the seasons if Summer means long days/short nights = easier
and Winter means short days/long nights = harder
Then it'd be really cool because we'd -dread- the Winter so much. I'd love to have this kind of gameplay. After all, surviving in real life has a lot to do with survival during the winter. Every animal/plant has some kind of defense for it.
