Nope, not entairly. The server will still have the same lore, the only thing that will happen with it is that we're going to update, edit and polish it. You know, remove all grammatical and spelling issues. Update the things that don't make sense at all, and add some new things. A new map will be made though. Overall the thing i'm trying to achieve is that all old Ruined World players will be able to go back to their old characters and continue their story/plot.
The application format will be somewhat the same, so it's safe to apply InvdrZim13!
Well, when i said new lore, i didn't mean to imply it was being completely rewritten. I meant that new lore as in there were parts that had to be re-written or added, not the entire thing.
I noticed the server is marked as offline in the OP, I assume that means it's in build? If so should I hold off on writing an app or just go ahead and post it?
The server is being remade, which includes: New lore being written, new maps, new everything.
I assume Dangirdas will change the application somehow in some ways and so my suggestion is hold off on posting an application, but the two things that i'm sure the application will still have would be writing the backstory and the deep pain and so if you want to start on a part of the application, either of those would be a good start. The rest of it might stay the same with a few bits and pieces added or removed, but i would say those two parts i mentioned have a 99.999% chance of being on the new application.
I messaged him over skype and he said that before building commences, he's got to finish the Lore, and then plan out where things will go as they have to match with the lore.
I'm not sure how often he's working on the lore and such, but i assume we should be building within 7-10days. That might also be a bit of an over-estimate.
As a player who once played on this server, I've not seen any applications in the past few days that would be accepted. I can go on and on about the reasons why, but i won't in this post. If you would like some constructive criticism, i will help with the application process ONLY after the server is actually accepting them. Right now, the server is not running and is in the process of being rebuilt. There is a team working on the map(soon, i hope), and Dangirdas is setting up the server, updating the lore, and such.
By the way, Dangirdas, if you didn't see my post, i can work on the collaboration texture pack for the new server. For any newcomers, that means it's a texture pack used primarily for this server, and it's customary for everyone on the server to use it to avoid confusion when talking about items and such.

Take a look at those applications for example. I did pull mine in specific, but both of those were applications that were accepted instantly. The first "accepted" application is not a modification of a first application i made, even though it says it's the second application i made. It's a completely new application from the first one i made. If you want to be accepted into this server WHEN it is online, i feel like those are good examples of what you should have in an application. Length of background, length of "deep pain", in-depth of detail, etc.

Previous milestones and feats: Create huge, expansive, elaborate faction bases on other servers, out of unique materials not normally thought(Creativity points!) A short bio about yourself: Played on the original Ruined World, i have other hobbies as well, but if this server gets off the ground i could spend a lot of my time on it. Other hobbies include League of Legends, gambling, and other things that i do not know if it is suitable to post on this thread.
Edit: I could also do the texture pack for the server, as i started working on one when ktrey was trying to revive it. It would need to be updated from 1.7.3, but i think it would only take me a few hours to find the right textures and such, and then updating it when new patches come out wouldn't be a problem.
The Mob Arena said that the prize was messed up after we(we being Snorunt444 and I) beat the levels of bosses. It said that after each boss, the Wolf, the Slime and the Spider. We didn't reach the 4th boss so i don't know if it would have said the same thing.
