posted a message on Jungle Bay Seed

This seed seems to have a lot of jungle surrounded by water. The only thing it's connected to is extreme hills and a flower forest.

It's actually really close, just find it yourself. But if you insist...

posted a message on Lighting Problems On "Cubic Chunks"

Hello Minecraft community. I noticed that the "lighting problems solutions" on the "cubic chunks thread" does not appear to be present because it wasn't deemed good enough by Jeb. I also heard that there is a page on Reddit that discusses these solutions.

Plus there are so many different suggestions on how to fix lighting problems in the thread's comments, I have no Idea which one would be the most efficient and beneficial. Is there anyone who could give me more info on it? I feel like the developers aren't interested in this suggestion at all.

I really like the idea, except for the fact that I usually use tree parkour to get away from fights.
I'm sorry, but I have to have
    no support.

Actually, you might be able to get away from fights quicker and easier with this change. Players can't see you through the leaves from far away. Plus you can still jump from tree to tree, it will just be more of a challenge because of complete vertical wood trees and only one wood block to jump on at a time, besides trees with branches or extensions. And only certain biomes are more forgiving for tree parkour, some biomes don't have trees at all.

posted a message on Placing blocks on air and being able to rotate redstone items to be able to go up walls!

Use the search bar. And by the way having a Redstone wire in the air would be a good thing, as long as it doesn't have any problems. So I support

Just letting you know, but realism does not always equal good gameplay.

But overall, everything is balenced! Except for the reduced damage. I feel that it is a bit overpowered and takes away a little use of the slime block.

Slime blocks are a lot more resourceful than leaf blocks, so it become helpful when you're traveling on foot in survival. And thank you for the support.

posted a message on Change Leaf Block Physics

There are 2 ways leaf blocks can be beneficial with these new physics-

    * Players can now walk/sprint through leaf blocks, but it will reduce your speed by 10%

    * Leaf blocks will break a high fall for players when you fall through them (except for leaf blocks with a solid block underneath them) , but for each leaf block you fall through, it will reduce the measurement of your fall damage height by 2 blocks.

-For example: falling off a 8 block cliff, then falling through a 1 leaf block would be the same thing as falling off a 6 block cliff without leaf blocks. With the same 8 block cliff and a 2 leaf block vertical space, it would be the same as falling off a 4 block cliff without leaf blocks. It's going to cause the same fall damage for both instances.

Disadvantages - No more walking on leaf blocks

    Watcha' say?

posted a message on Rare Jungle Wetland Island - Double Stacked Ravines

Even when searching the internet for minecraft seeds, jungle islands are pretty rare to find which is why I'm happy I discovered this one. From 1.7 to now, there are only about a few jungle island seeds on the internet that you can possibly find.

I'm calling this seed a wetland island, because there are several tiny islands on this one island, plus a lot of shallow water in the jungle island itself. There is also a fairly big jungle to the east of spawn. The double stacked ravine just looks awesome. Photos will be in the attachments.

There are a lot more general things that the minecraft community and the developers want implemented before something like this does. In the future, it wouldn't be a bad idea though.

posted a message on Could a new type of seed engine detect biome positions?

The current seed engine to minecraft is very complex because it places biomes in infinite directions. Even if you are at the end of the world, biomes will still generate past the border. This means a seed will spawn all specific placed biomes but it wont be able to tell you if there is a mushroom island at -5000x, 3000z for example.

I think it would be possible to generate a seed, then the seed will quickly scan itself to locate different biome positions. This type of engine could possibly be forged with amidst to make it more convenient. I am no tech or math wiz, but hopefully someone can help me out with ideas or problems here?

posted a message on A Huge Request For Mod Makers

I know mod makers spend a lot of their time making their mods, and I know I'm asking for a lot, but I think a mod for a seed finding amidst would be cool. But very few computers are designed and set up to scan seeds on amidst. Is it possible to make a downloadable mod for this kind of thing? I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me if there is a download available, or if it is possible to make a mod like this. Thank you for your help.

posted a message on Redstone Cross Wires and Adjacent Wires

Even though some suggestions can be redundant, Adding certain ideas and details changes a lot and becomes quite acceptable. Just look at cubic chunks, The first suggestion thread didn't get much support, but when another person took it and added things, it became the #1 suggestion of all time.

posted a message on Redstone Cross Wires and Adjacent Wires

A redstone cross wire/adjacent wire is a block that is the size of a redstone repeater, and allows you to cross 2 redstone wires without having to make them go over, under, and around each other. Redstone can connect to all 4 sides of both wires, but opposite or adjacent sides (depending on which one) of the wire is where a connection is made.

For example: you have all 4 sides of the cross wire, which I will label A, B, C, and D. A and C are on opposite sides and the same with B and D. When a redstone signal input is sent through A side, the output will come out of C side, and vi versa. When a redstone input is sent through B, the output comes out of D, and vi versa as well. This type of wire will be called a cross wire. It is crafted like this:

    1- stone

    2- redstone dust

    3- stone

    4- redstone dust

    5- redstone dust

    6- redstone dust

    7- stone

    8- redstone dust

    9- stone

A redstone adjacent wire will function the same as a cross wire, except sides A and B are linked and C and D are linked as well. It will be crafted like this-

    1- stone

    2- redstone dust

    3- stone

    4- redstone dust

    5- stone

    6- redstone dust

    7- stone

    8- redstone dust

    9- stone

when you place down an adjacent wire, the 2 connections will be the left side & top side, and the other one will be the right side & the bottom side, so you must have it placed a certain direction to have it work as desired. The cross wire does not apply to this principal, you can place it anyway you want.

So to make this more clear: on cross wires, Input A or input C does not affect Output B or output D, and vi versa. On adjacent wires, Input A or input B does not affect output C or output D, and vi versa as well.

Benefits: these new redstone blocks can make redstone contraptions a lot more compact.

Disadvantages: possibility of making more redstone bugs :(

I will provide attachments of the textures of these new redstone blocks. (sorry, they are ugly because of paint, but I'm just trying to get the idea across)

Any additional ideas or changes I should make? Let me know!
