Soulscribe if you wanna add this to the main post so people know to download it you can, I'll edit this thread afterward to get rid of redundancy.

Oct 17, 2010I think the halfsteps need to be changed, they look very odd compared to the rest of the texture pack.Posted in: Mods Discussion
Maybe even making the current halfstep a higher resolution would be a nice texture to go with honestly.
Either that or something that blends with the stone or the cobblestone would be good.
The Ice/Water/Snow textures look great, it makes the world seem very much alive as opposed to the regular ones.
Here is the sand right next to some snow. I guess if they are right next to each other they don't look that similar, but when they are not near each other I can see how they might get confused at a first look. I guess the original stone seems a little fluid more than rigid.
Here is a compilation of a staircase going into the side of a mountain, everything looks pretty good, but again, the halfsteps seem a little out of place with their design.
A random tree with graphics of non-fancy, I would run the graphics on fancy but I don't like how the clouds are so big and transparent like. But the tree looks good.
Oct 17, 2010DD.Joker, you seem to be the only one having an issue with the pack, so I don't know what you are doing wrong, but everyone else is having no issues with anything getting corrupted. I agree with speed when he says rock looks a little similar to sand and I will post up a couple of screenshots of your textures in action. PS, I love the water and the flowing water, it is sooo much nicer. =)Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 15, 2010I liked you old images of the ore(besides the coal, this coal is better)Posted in: Mods Discussion
If you could just take those textures clean up the edges a little bit and slap them all on the same colored stone block I think you will be onto something. The only reason it wasn't as good before was cause all the blocks were different colors and it wasn't going to blend from one another very well.

Geeze dude... harsh... At least give input on how to make it better... :/ And I disagree... It doesn't look like that in the least bit...
Oct 13, 2010Here is a little help to make your block flow a little bit better. I found this in another thread somewhere in the mess around here and thought your could use it as reference. If you notice on both of them the rock around it is the same color and he worked the coal and iron into the original stone detail. Which is good because that will make it flow a LOT better. I feel that with your coal and Iron since it is so spread out and overtaking the rock they won't blend in the least bit with the regular mining stone. Still like what you are doing, just a friendly little pointer. =)Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 12, 2010Diamond Ore = AmazingPosted in: Mods Discussion
Diamond Block = Suit my taste just fine
Gold Ore = Not to loud, yet a little more than subtle(gold if VERY soft anyhow)
Coal Ore = Block is much to dark, should be the same as stone with some dark chunks in it
Red Powder = What you will do to it seems like it'll work great
Wood = Almost there, not blocky instead of panely, long planks look better in groups than short planks(can you post these wood images back up and edit your old post to be able to show them again?)
Glass = Not to shabby actually pretty decent
Train tracks = Not very HD at all(Maybe try what I have below and make a 90degree track piece from it)
Oct 11, 2010I was just taking a look over that wood around the windows and I think it wood<--(see what I did there? =P) look a tad better if it didn't have that middle line in it, the blocks seem to tiny to make a reasonable siding and/or flooring for a house if someone wanted to do so.Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 10, 2010I would actually like to see less of a border around the glass, or maybe a thinner one for that matter. That was you can easily tile it without the view being obstructed by lines running all around. I made something with a little less of a border, see how you like it. =)Posted in: Mods Discussion
Oct 9, 2010You could also use Picasa(http://picasaweb.google.com/home). If you already have a gmail or google account it goes through there. And IMO anything through google is going to be good stuff. But that imgur doesn't seem to shabby either.Posted in: Mods Discussion
