Fixing common problems
2. The ModLoader has to be first in the mods list, use the button Up to move it to first position. ModLoader is not needed if Forge 4.0 or newer is installed.
3. Then come (if you need them) ModLoaderMP and Forge.
4. Then come the rest of the mods and last comes OptiFine. Only one OptiFine edition may be active as they overwrite each other.
5. Do not forget to start with a clean minecraft.jar. If it is already modified or patched, then some mods may not work correctly.
6. A mod should appear either in the internal or the external mod list, but not in both at the same time.
7. Mods which have status "No mods found" needs to be repackaged to be used. The mod ZIP file usually have a folder "put_in_minecraft_jar" or similar which contains one or more files like "acx.class". The contents of this folder have to be zipped in a separate ZIP file and added as an internal mod. This solution works with almost all problematic mods.
8. If you get an error "No accelerated mode found" or "Bad OpenGL drivers" you may try running Minecraft with less memory. Go to "Setup -> Advanced", enter 256 in the field Memory and test again. This helps with some integrated graphics cards.

Micro CTM Map #01 - Sheepish Start
This map is designed as an introduction for new players to the CTM genre. Originally the white wool area of a larger map, I polished it up and made the first section much safer to allow new players to get their bearings.

So, this is something I've never done before.
*Ahem*
Due to the fact that The Unsighted Sand is proving popular, some people think it is too easy, and having spotted a couple of bugs in the map...
Quicksand Hazard:
- Yellow Concrete Powder is quicksand and damages the player when stood on (kinda like magma blocks).
- Added some quicksand to open world portion of the map.
Difficulty Modifiers:
- Difficulty Modifiers are difficulty increasing modifiers that change how the map works.
- Modifiers can be toggled freely on/off from a room accessable at spawn.
- 'Hard Mode' is now a modifier.
- Also gave some special thanks in the modifer's room.
Bug Fixes:
- Changed how the default regeneration effect works. This means it's regen rate is slightly closer to the normal health regen.
- The above also fixes the Golden Apple Juice overriding and clearing the base effect.
- Cursed Mummy mob spawners are primed & no longer spawn the mobs inside walls.
- Due to 'Hard Mode' now being a modifier, it can be toggled on/off.
Thanks to the community for spotting bugs and offering positive feedback!

So, my map is progressing well.
"Typical Shadow Bridge Area #4"
Also, because I didn't post yesterday (stayed up too late making map...), have another screenshot.
I wonder how many deserts there have been in CTM maps? Add one more to that figure.
P.S. +1 to TJ. I love when people make videos of Jam maps. (Mainly as I get to watch people play mine. And hopefully die.)

Responce To Edam_Cheese:
Congrats! You got it! Googling 'Flurry Of Dancing Flames' leads right to him - which I didn't bother to check at the time - so in retrospect that may have been a bit of a giveaway, but still, nice job.
The important bit of book 1 is actually the title of the song - Memorize. "Got it memorized?" is pretty much his catchphase. He does also say "So you really do remember me now..." in KH2, but memorize is the big hint here. (As well as me hoping throughing in another game entirely may catch some people out).
The book 4 link is a tenuous one, an attempt to link Axel to the song. This is supposed to be reflecting the relationship between Axel & Roxas during KH2.
The books are the only things really pointing to Axel specifically, but other parts of the map link to KH as a whole - though I won't mention everything, particually as you've never played or watched the game(s).
"The Ressal" is an anagram of "Heartless", one of the main groups of enemies in KH.
Two of the area names contain the words "Heart" and "Kingdom" respectively.
Kingdom of Frost's castle was based off of Castle Oblivion (run an image search for castle oblivion - you should find it looks similar).
There's 1 copy of book 1 - 24 copies of book 2, 5 of book 3 and 12 of book 4.
1 24 5 12
With A being 1, B being 2, C 3, D 4, etc...
A X E L
...the list of stuff goes on.![:P :P](https://media.minecraftforum.net/avatars/0/7/635356669595167032.png)
Thanks for playing my map! I'm glad that you enjoyed it and took the time to have a guess at my puzzle. Thanks for the feedback on the main thread as well - and good luck with making your entry. I'll be sure to give it a shot when it's done.

Umm..
Your map is broken. In the intersection you have a couple of teleporters: one works fine but the other just teleports you to the middle of the same intersection.
Also you have a couple of spots where the boundry between 'inside map' and 'outside map' is only one block thick with no bedrock. I don't like this kinda thing as it means that you can pretty much break the map on accident really quickly.
3
So... I have a much better looking building finished but I don't want to show it.
So instead you get another completely boring looking screenshot.
I'm also suddenly quite a bit ahead of schedule as far as map construction goes, so hopefully I'll have a lot of time to playtest, meaning you end up with a more balanced map. Woo!

(Looks at my screenshot. Looks at sketch's.)
How in the...
Seriously, sketch, helico and tikaro never fail to have impressive terrian.
4
Not that much done, but the overall terrain for the main area is done, the items are made, some mobs... okay, maybe I got a bit done. Still a long way to go though!
[Not overly impressive screenshot:]
