This mob will eventually stop and defend itself by summoning various hostile mobs. It has great loot for the trouble of killing it.
if its gonna do that, why not call it a necromancer?... anyway as for the drop, the cape is pointless and I would hate to sacrifice my armor just to show it off...
If you didn't already know; pressing The "F5" key will activate a 3rd person mode in Minecraft. In this mode the cross hair is literately on the back of your head, I think this is a problem because that makes sniping with a bow pretty much impossible... so I suggest having the cross hair being over to the side of the player for a more "over the shoulder" experience (which is practically in every 3rd person game, like: gears of war, lost planet, resident evil... and so on), this allows sniping with a bow to be much more visible!
The cross hair will be over to the right of the player (But not to fare over!) when switching into 3rd person mode, however most people don't like only having one side as an option, which is why it should be switchable (to the left side) by double tapping the "A" key and switched back (to the right side) by double tapping the "D" key (pretty much like how sprinting works). This feature will only be exclusive in 3rd person mode of course.
what do you guys think? ...and don't be like: "just play on 1st person". I will hate you for that.
I remember that they had silk touch spawners in beta 1.9 pre release 4 or 5 I think.... If you support this, link it in your signature.
I wouldn't see them re-adding that possibility. That was removed for a reason.
also the silk touch enchantment should always get the block that's mined, don't add variants of it just for that tiny use.
While this does seem decently balanced, I don't see a need for it. Your uses are practically nonexistent. One is entirely exclusive to PvP servers and the other doesn't really stand up to reason.
If Brewing is just like it is for anything else then you get 3 Bottled Souls for every Soul Sand, and if you find one place in the Nether you will literally have hundreds of Soul Sand. Plus a mob grinder is way easier to make for most overworld mobs, Endermen grinders are easy to make as well, and once you kill a couple Blaze you can make Fire Resist potions to farm them for life. So using this as a mob grinder doesn't make much sense.
This spawner is better because it can farm mostly every mob (not just Blazes... you can even spawn mobs that don't get generated spawners!), that's its reason, and lets not forget its portable. overall ALLOT better for mob farming!
Sure their is allot of Soul Sand but not Neathr Warts! you have to think about them too
Btw Endermen grinders are not easy to make... well yeah they could be easy to make in the End but getting to the End in the fist place! well that's hard... I belive you've been Pownd.
I can see the intended purpose of this, to be able to put creatures in specific locations more easily, but why not something more simple like cages that you can use to abduct the mob of your choice?
I wanted this mob spawnner to be an "all type" spawner.
And do you mean to abduct the power of other generated spawners into the craftable one? because that would be complex and not allow pigs, cows, sheep.... all the other mobs that dont get generating spawners to be unspawnable.
(IN THIS PIC, PRETEND THE "BOTTLE O' ENCHANTING" IS A "BOTTLED SOUL")
how do you get Bottled Soul? by brewing soul sand into an awkward potion. Bottled Soul serves solely as the Mob Spawners fuel and as a component to its recipe at the moment. why Mossy Cobble? because it fits the theam of a spawner.
Mob Spawners can be placed down like a block once crafted from the recipe above. once placed they will have no entity inside them and will not emit flame particles until they are activated. to activate this mob spawner you must first right click on it which opens up a special inventory. in this inventory their are two slots: 1 for fuel and above it, a slot to place a specific item which determines the mob you wish to spawn (not all mobs can be spawned), this inventory looks and acts exactly like that of a furnace except the fire icon will be bright blue when activated and does not use coal as fuel, but Bottled Soul as fuel instead. NOTE: It will Take two Bottled Souls in the fuel slot to summon one Mob.
when "Smelting/cooking" these specific items with this magical blue flame the following mobs will spawn:
Raw Chicken = Chicken Raw Beef = Cow Milk = Ocelot Raw Porkchop = Pig Wool = Sheep Leather = Horse Inc Sack = Squid Emerald = Villager Ender Purl = Enderman Bone Meal = Wolf Golden Ingot = Zombie Pigman Blaze Rod = Blaze Spider Eye = Cave Spider Gunpowder = Creeper Ghast Tear = Ghast Magma Cream = Magma Cube BrickStone = Silver Fish Bone = Skeleton Slime Ball = Slime String = Spider awkward potion = Witch Rotten Flesh = Zombie
The crafted monster spawners are different from the ones you find underground and will not break when mined making them allowable to be picked up. (You can tell them apart by this one having no entity inside and bright blue flame particles)
Is This OP? No because 1: You have to find a dungeon first to obtain mossy cobble, 2: You need Diamonds in order to travel to the Neather to find Soul Sand and Neather Warts, 3: You have to find a Neather Fortress to obtain Neather Warts, 4: You have to construct a brewing stand in order to make the Bottled souls for fuel, 5: it takes two Bottled Souls to summon one mob, and 6: (well this ones really not that hard but) you need to obtain specific items to spawn specific mobs.
Why Mob Spawners? 1: could be used to sabotage enemy basses in PVP by storming them with hostile Mobs (like a deadly Ghast! or Creepers), and 2: makes mob farming allot easier (rare Item drops bro).
Please comment your thoughts bellow and/or like this tread if you think it should be implemented... if not? then feel free to disagree, but if you do please explain why
should be more than 3 spiders, and it would be more interesting if it had this:
it would behave like a spider spawner, but would only do this at night, and hitting it would spawn 3-4 spiders, but hitting it again wouldn't spawn them again for another 2 minutes.
well somebody plays don't starve, don't they?
why not add a queen like next from don't starve as well?
