Grass doesn't grow arbitrarily. You need a source for it to spread from. Find the nearest grass block, and connect it wih dirt to your court. Or you could move it with pistons. It will take a while to spread, though.
And I think cats should be dye-able, but maybe that's just me.
Meh, it's not for me. I bet you want to dye wolves too, and you're not the only one. So I can't fault you for wanting it.
I don't want to dye wolves. The reason I think cats should be dye-able is because they are primarily for decoration, and decoration shouldn't be bound by natural sheep colours.
I like this. Cats, to look good, would probably be maybe only twelve pixels high, a bit taller than a bed. Also, you shouldn't be able to place any block above a cat, or have a cat with no block under it. And also, punching a cat to pick them up seems... brutal. Maybe if you left click them with fish, you essentially bribe them, and they decide to curl up in your inventory.
And I think cats should be dye-able, but maybe that's just me.
I don't think it is. That's less than one fifth of the total durability, and if you have a diamond tool, you're probably doing some serious... whatever it is you're using your tool for, and you'd probably use up the tool fast.
I support this. Obviously, it wouldn't be called Duct Tape in game, maybe just tape. I'll make some graphics for it. Also, you shouldn't be able to duct tape something past its maximum. You should have to wait until it's sufficiently degraded to use duct tape on a tool.
Also, if beds ever heal you, I think you should be able to put tape in an armour slot (like a bandage) which will speed up recovery.
I'm going to talk about the actual subject of this topic...
I really don't care either way, but if cats were added, this is what I'd like them to do.
Cats would be mountain lions, found in mountainous biomes. Cats would be tamed with milk, first of all. When you are under attack, the cat will hiss, having a chance to divert enemies attention to itself. Cats will also attack farm animals, with a preference for chicken. And lastly, the cat would have a small (twelve slot?) inventory, which could be accessed by shift-clicking the cat.
Up for interpretation or not, it's little nonsense ideas like that that got everyone babbling about how creepers need hugs all the time and spawned this ridiculous obsession with smiling creepers. Where's the evidence that they're smiling under a mustache?
It was a joke! Can't you take a joke? I was making fun of how this thread said creepers needed to smile by making a claim of similar nature which also (ironically (I think)) contradicted the OP.
I think zombies are fine as is. If you think about it, feathers make perfect sense. In some mythology and/or lore, the undead were afraid of chickens. In Minecraft, you can assume that zombies will drop feathers because they attack chickens. So, the feature I'd like to be added is that zombies will attack chickens unless another enemy is in sight.
Wow. This forum has sunk to an all time low in my opinion. Next time, consider reading the thread before posting. I'm not repeating anything. Find it yourself.
And actually, it occurred to me that maybe the cause was actually griefers using the storm to cover their actions.
Only a dumbass would make a wooden home with no protection.
You are really an idiot. Read some of the posts in this thread. Preferably the ones on pages four and five, as those are really the only pages with intelligent conversation. There are several reasons one might use wood, but I don't think you deserve to have them told to you. Read the thread. Figure it out.
And next time, please offer something productive to the thread.
Actually, there are two other possibilities. One, the rain could quickly spread to a sheltered block before the rain can put it out. Two, the lightning hits netherrack, which isn't put out by rain, and will spread fire as usual.
I was under the impression the town was made of wood, not netherrack, so I suppose the first suggestion is the best possibility. I'd love some some screenshots of where the fire took place, then the cause would become more clear.
Well, the town doesn't need to be made of netherrack. All it takes is one piece of exposed netherrack to be struck, and then the fire starts.

Javert got me a small desert with a lot of cactus and pumpkins nearby.

Would you be able to craft four mudballs into a mud block (with the same properties as ice), and if so, would it obey gravity?
In any case, this seems to be an interesting idea, and I support it.

And by the way, insert lack of support here.

In other news, this idea is oversuggested, hard to code, and doesn't fit in minecraft.
