As it is we have several big boxes (sections) with loads of options (forums). Would it not be better to have the main forum index be layered thusly so this is what one sees when one enters the main forum index:

The seed "8896829029730991295" will work with any release of PCMC v1.7.2 and later as far as biomes are concerned.
Here's the map with structures shown.

Here's the Amidst map of "-6832138507895341644"

Here's the Amidst map of "3585663767566414981".
Since Amidst doesn't yet map Mansions I created this world and /tped to the Mansion and then loaded Amidst from the save file so that it would show the Mansion's location under Steve.

This forum IS the seed bank.
There is NO need for a thread full of seeds posts that would be extremely confusing.
The purpose of this forum is to keep each thread about ONE seed each.

I edited the title of this thread just for clarity.
Although the OP found this magnificent edifice in Snapshot 16w50a the world generator hasn't been changed since PCMCv1.7.2 came out so I checked several versions and found it in every world I created. (I expected to.)
The highest treetop there is at y=219. Impressive.
"6752710158536066160" is a very nice find.

Did you notice how OLD this thread is?
From the date I would say the OP was using, at best, PCMC Beta 1.8.

I created this thread and moved the above two posts to it to remove them from http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/seeds/2770983-a-good-seed
Please folks, don't try to hijack other people's threads.

OK, I'll admit it. Next April I will officially be a septuagenarian.
And as a forum and chat moderator I spend several hours a day doing Minecraft related stuff on my computer(s).
I actually play a little each day.

I suggest that you download Amidst v4.2 (see my signature), set up a pure vanilla profile for PCMCv1.7.10, point Amidst at that and start hitting Ctrl-R until you get a map that suits you.
Hint: you can use the Biome highlight feature (icon in lower right corner) to make this search easier.
