So.... Vanilla! I'm starting a new series for Vanilla Minecraft for 1.6.1 and I would love to share it with you. Below is a list of all of the episodes for this series as well as this post will always be updated with the latest video for the series. I hope you enjoy.
I started a series a while back in which I cover blocks / builds. Anyway lots of my subs have seemed to enjoy them so I thought I would share them with other. Also included in the video description is the world and config download & a list of all the mods with links to their downloads.
I'll keep this OP updated with the latest, and a list of all of the blocks/builds I've covered in my series. Enjoy!
Ok try this, take that skin you want, and drag the image off the webpage onto your desktop, then go to, www.Minecraft.net and then log in, Go to profile and then go to where it says, Change you look in Minecraft, then click Choose File, and then choose the name of the picture you just dragged to your desktop. And then click Upload. And there you go! Now you have your new skin! I hope this helped you!
Thank you for your suggestion. I have tried this several times over the past few days. I even tried renaming the skin I want to BevoLJ thinking maybe it wasn't saving on the Mojang server correctly. Sadly even though it says the upload goes ok, it isn't saving to the server. Or at least it isn't deleting and replacing the current BevoLJ.png file on the server @ "https://minecraft.ne...kin/BevoLJ.png".
Someone made me an amazing skin this past weekend and I would love to use it. It has been like a year since I last changed my skin, and I have no idea where I got my current one from. Anyway, I am having a lot of trouble changing skins. Here is what I have been doing:
What I have tried:
- uploading that to the Minecraft.net to change skin
- uploading that to various skin websites and trying to use their "change skin" features.
- changing to other skins from those other websites using the "change skin" features and downloading and uploading other skins to the minecraft.net site
What is happening:
- Nothing is changing. I get the message that it will take a few seconds for their server to update my skin but it never does. I have tried both force updating client, and checking the "https://minecraft.net/skin/BevoLJ.png" to see if my account has been updated. I typically wait 5 mins, and have been doing it serveral time for the past few days with no luck so far.
Am I doing something really stupid? heh. It has been a long time since I changed skins, but I feel I am missing something here. I know others who have changed their skins successfully recently.
Oh, and the account has paid for Minecraft (though that was long ago) so that shouldn't be an issue.
