Simply said, you should be able to sit your ass down after a long days work. Yes, small, and yes, kind of useless, but it would be useful in Multiplayer Roleplay and just a resting spot. Plus, I would really like a chair in my mansion.

Also, you could possibly make them out of other materials, like cobblestone, or, even better, solid mineral blocks (like diamond or gold)
