    I spent about 6 hours updating it to 1.9 today, I am not sure (if and) when it will be done since much of it is GUI and I only do backend. I will post an update if I get a working copy (that is not riddled with bugs.)

    It happens only on server side and not in client side.

    Sorry for the long time with no info, I have had a lot of personal, family, and health issues. However, I am back and I have been tinkering with the map. I have got another builder on the project, and I am looking forward to keeping you guys updated on this. Most of the work has been done behind the scenes, however I have a few things I can tell you about right now.


    Through a decent amount of trial and error, we now have a highly convoluted dynamic loot system. We also have added a MASSIVE maze, which has had a lot of work put into it by our newest team member. A labyrinth has been put under way, and I have done a decent amount of work adding a level system.


    The level system is in its infancy, however I have many plans for it.

    I was going through Minecrafts bug site, and I noticed one regarding a button on the options screen labelled "Realms Notifications [On/Off]" - I did a few minutes of searching but I came up empty on any detailed information. the bug was reported by a mod of the bugs page, and seemed to only have valid input from mojang team members, the rest appears to be speculation and 'hear-say'

    I am extremely interested in this, as it has gotten my hopes up to possibly notifying when people join or leave my realm when I am on my main server. (I run a survival server, and have a extremely large rpg map project on my realm) - This would be the dream, as opposed to having a minecraft client and account open per server.


    Does anybody have any hard facts on this feature?

    I love this, I use it all the time. It works great, as long as you know what to avoid. The only issue is obviously the saving and loading, it is a pain - I know. I found through trial and error that you can easily avoid the inability to load by not using the HoverEvent. It would be amazing if the developer could publish the source to github if he does not plan on continuing it, because I am completely sure that somebody would be willing to pick it up and work on it. I would at the very least fix the bugs, but I don't have time for a full on project. @CrushedPixel, You do great work here! Thanks for your time and effort on this, it has helped me and so many others out a lot! Have a wonderful day everyone!

    Background


    Wow... Where do I even begin? Well, It all started about three and a half years ago; I was running a very basic server off of my home machine, My Co-Owner at the time was my best friend (BLOOBERBOY1). The server was not that popular, just a small community of strangers becoming friends. There was a lot of slow time where it was just me and my best friend online, and we were both good builders - Him more than myself, I was more into redstone, and not too bad at it either. So, we plopped on multi-verse and started building... And as time went by, we stopped working on it now and then - but we always picked it back up. After about a year, we realized we had quite a beautiful thing and actually started to get serious. We worked on it and still are, It's something that we never expected to get all that far, but with the updates since we started - things like scoreboards, command blocks, and a bunch of amazing NBT tags - we started to see possibilities everywhere, and acted on them. Before we knew it, our little map became a living breathing thing! Its had to think that all that time this map was just a super flat world. Enough boring stuff, lets get into the fun stuff.


    About


    This map is a pure vanilla MRPG (Multiplayer Role Playing Game), It can support as many players as need be, and let the game be replayed by a virtually infinite amount of people. It is a open world styled gameplay, the story is threaded and seemed into the fabric of the map to feel more open concept, and not linear.


    The release date has yet to be announced, but we are three and a half years in, so it will be sooner than later. We will keep you up to date on this thread with new screenshots and renders, and new information as it arises. We have not decided as of yet if there will be a downloadable version, but there will be a server for sure.

    I will be personally updating this thread with new renders at least twice a week.

    posted a message on Unteleportable dragon egg ?

    Without knowing if there is a nbt tag for it, I would put barrier blocks around it. I am sure there are more creative ways around it. I am at the hospital at the moment, if I remember I will do some testing and research when I get home :)

    Fixes:

    - Venomflyers now only turn one skeleton instead of all the ones near it

    - Venomflyers are no longer killer by already turned vampires

    - Various things to the nbt (cannot remember)


    NOTE: These need to be placed in the correct positions around the redstone block clock or else it will not work.

    Yeah, the lock tag is only for chests, furnaces, droppers, hoppers, brewing stands, and beacons- all that but not doors!. Hoping they will expand on this amazing feature in the future!

    posted a message on I need help of locking a door

    Doors don't have the {Lock:""} tag, it would be done in many ways, one that i recently saw was where they re-textured a few blocks to look like gates and gate key holes,then put a picture frame with the invisible tag on top of the re-textured lock block -- then when you right click the 'lock' it is really putting they key in the picture frame. They then used the /entitydata command to detect if the key was inside the picture frame. if it turned out true it would open the 'gate' by removing the blocks with the /fill command.

    I was bored, so i made a command that gives the nearest player a chest with most the available spawners in the game.
