posted a message on Modded server crash on player connect

    So here's the thing:

I can run and load a modded forge server just fine, no errors that I can see / understand possibly.

But the moment a player tries connecting, it crashes with a server tick error message

Help? Sorry if asking about forge stuff isn't a thing I should be doing here

Edit: also, is WorldEdit really needed that much? kinda annoying when your an OP / on single player and you cant rightclick without having it be like "set point 1 to x, y, z"

    Hi!

I have a question / issue regarding the mod:

I spawned in the quest giver / villager, and started the first thing he has, the Great Jaggi.

Upon entering the area it warped me to, there is no monster spawned in, and also various GUI and such of the mod seem abit...glitched. (well, idk if its glitched per say, but for lack of better words it looks very basic / downgraded from the screenshots)

I have the mod itself as well as the 2 things required (worldedit and wutever the other thing is), so is this just a fault on my end or...?

(P.S im using a forge server for it incase a friend wanted to jump in)

posted a message on Help finding Dragon Quest JPN mod

IDK if this belongs in this part of the forum, but...

has anyone found a link / download to that older Japanese Dragon Quest mod? it was called like DQM2 / based off of Dragon Quest Monsters, and had the ability to tame mobs in it.

Last time i tried downloading it (a year or two ago), the download page either had malicious screen-covering ads on it, or was bad, cuz I remember getting viruses and what not.

I know its out there somewhere up for grabs, i remember playing with it awhile ago...

posted a message on Server Chunk Issue

The world pictured above Is a new world.

I would say it has something to do with importing stuff using MCEdit, but in the world pictured, the thing i brought over was placed in an already rendered area which we explored thoroughly (also it was a rather small object).

The other thing I think may be a problem is im not using the standard minecraft server exe or such, but rather the 1.12.2 forge server, yet not adding any mods or such whatsoever. Though doing this works just fine in 1.12.1 with a diff server...

posted a message on Server Chunk Issue

I have a problem with servers on 1.12 (more specifically, 1.12.2).

Whenever I use this one server with a friend of mine (im the one hosting it), we randomly get this thing where chunks will like, not load.

And i don't mean "not load" like stuff is invisible, no i mean it legit doesnt load / create chunks, so there's giant holes in the ground like this (in the attachments).

I tried using things like Region fixer and MCEdit, but they both say its not an error / issue.

    Um...little problem(?)

I was on the server yesterday, but now it says i'm not Whitelisted or whatever.

(before hand it kept telling me "unknown host name" or such)

Just a random question and/or suggestion:

Perhaps you could add more music discs for atmosphere and such? I love to plop the current ones into a jukebox when expanding my lil underground bunker / go out hunting at night.

And if you do, perhaps add world music to them? (like the theme of Hollow Bastion from KH1, Traverse Town, etc. nothing wrong with the current ones, but id like some music that isnt a big epic orchestral suite / battle theme.)

you need to open the jar file (use 7Zip or something like that, jar files are just zip files with a different extension), go into "metroidcubed3/asm", and delete 'MC3ASMClient.class'

Is this a fix for the game booting you and being like "server issue" or whatever in SP when using charge beams?
(sorry if im asking annoying question, i didnt really follow the chain of replies / posts)

Dunno, when you play it do you use ANY other mods (Optifine and such count)?

So the newest update is the 0.3Bp right?

Dunno if this error was on the version before this one, but using the power beam causes the whole "internal server" issue as stated before.

(according to curse, this was updated like 3 hours ago from when i made this post)

    For a simple mining laser:

    Place a Mining Laser.
Place a Particle Booster on top of it.
Place a Chest on one side.
Place a Computer on the other side (ComputerCraft)
Connect a power source to the Particle Booster.
Run the computer, and type ls
You should see a list (ls) of programs, one of which is mine. Type mine to run the Mining Laser.

    EDIT: nvm, figured it out.

When i do this and type ls, the only thing that shows up is Rom.

What part are you missing from Wiki?

Could just be that I cant understand it, but when looking at how to set up the mining laser, it basically just says "To activate the laser you will need to attach a ComputerCraft or OpenComputers router and wire it to a computer." and im confused as to what it means by that.
Seems like the cables from Industrialcraft dont connect to both, and the network wire doesn't connect to the PC either.
